Fairchild Semiconductor FAN21 TinyBuckintegrated synchronous buck regulators contain synchronous MOSFETs and a controller/driver with optimized interconnects in one package, enabling designers to solve high-current requirements in a small area with minimal external components. The devices boast a peak efficiency of over 95% and wide input and output voltage ranges.


FAN21 TinyBuck regulators provide programmable frequency operation of 200KHz to 600KHz and include external compensation, programmable switching frequency, and current limit features that allow design optimization and flexibility. These Fairchild Semiconductor buck regulators also offer a summing current mode modulator that uses lossless current sensing for current feedback and over-current protection.
