These devices contain a current-limited P-channel MOSFET which can operate over an input voltage range of 1.8-5.5V. Switch control is by a logic input (ON) capable of interfacing directly with low voltage control signals. Each part contains thermal shutdown protection which shuts off the switch to prevent damage to the part when a continuous over-current condition causes excessive heating. When the switch current reaches the current limit, the part operates in a constant-current mode to prohibit excessive currents from causing damage.

The Fairchild MDBxS 1 Amp Single-Phase Bridge Rectifiers are designed to meet the needs of space constrained systems such as mobile device battery chargers and power adapters, as well as Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) devices including IP surveillance cameras. With a package height of 1.45mm maximum, the MDBxS series can fit into tight spaces. The integrated design and small package size reduces component count, saving up to 75 percent board space when compared to traditional discrete bridge rectifier solutions. The family currently consists of three parts - the MDB6S (600V), MDB8S (800V), and MDB10S (1000V) with 50V-400V versions currently in development. These devices offer a high surge current capability (30A (max)) and is a glass passivated junction rectifiers.
Fairchild's FXMAx21 Dual-Supply Translators are high performance, configurable dual-voltage supply for bi-directional voltage translation over a wide range of input and output voltage levels. The FXMA2104 is a 4-bit device that includes an I2C buffer/repeater and isolator and is intended for open-drain applications. The FXMAR2104 is a 4-bit device that includes an I2C isolator and is intended for open-drain and push-pull applications. The FXMAR2102 is a 2-bit device that includes an I2C isolator and is designed for I2C applications. Each of these devices are designed so that the A port tracks the VCCA level and the B port tracks the VCCB level. This allows for bi-directional A/B port voltage translation between any two levels from 1.65V to 5.5V.
Fairchild's FPF1048 Slew-Rate-Controlled Load Switch is an advanced load management switch which targets applications requiring a highly integrated solution. It disconnects loads powered from the DC power rail (<6V) with stringent off-state current targets and high load capacitances (up to 100µF). The FPF1048 consists of a slew-rate controlled low-impedance MOSFET switch (23mΩ typical) and integrated analog features. The slew-rate controlled turn-on characteristic prevents inrush current and the resulting excessive voltage drop on power rails.

Fairchild's QSE25x Plastic Silicon OPTOLOGIC® Photosensors feature a Schmitt trigger at output which provides hysteresis for noise immunity and pulse shaping. The basic building block for the QSE25x Plastic Silicon OPTOLOGIC® Photosensor consists of a photodiode, a linear amplifier, voltage regulator, Schmitt trigger and four output options.
