Primary Side Regulation PWM with Power MOSFET

The Fairchild FSEZ1016A primary-side PWM ( Pulse-Width Modulation ) Integrated Power MOSFET significantly simplifies power supply designs that require CV and CC regulation capabilities. The Fairchild FSEZ1016A controls the output voltage and current precisely with only the information in the primary side of the power supply , not only removing the output current sensing loss, but also eliminating all secondary feedback circuitry.


This allows the FSEZ1016A to address a critical need in the high brightness LED market especially. The Fairchild FSEZ1016A simplifies design, reduces board space, and provides performance advantages when compared to a conventional design or a linear transformer.
