The Epson Electronics America S1R72U06 USB2.0 host controller for connected USB memory, mouse devices, or keyboards contains all the required USB software embedded in the chip. The Epson Electronics America S1R72U06 permits UART and SPI-based control and eliminates the need for special USB knowledge. This USB2.0 host controller also supports connection and control with 8- and 16-bit processors for fast, easy USB memory, mouse, or keyboard connections in embedded devices. The S1R72U06 runs on a single 3.0 to 5.5V power supply and comes in a compact 48-pin QFN or QFP package.

The Epson Electronics America S1C17704 CMOS 16-bit single chip microcontroller (MCU) is a high-speed, low power device featuring on-chip ICE, large address space, and compact size. The S1C17704 features an S1C17 CPU core, 64KB Flash memory, 4KB RAM, serial interface modules for connecting various sensor modules, an LCD driver, and more. This Epson Electronics America 16-bit MCU includes an ICE function that allows on-board erasing and programming of the embedded Flash memory. The S1C7704 is ideal for battery-driven applications with sensor interfaces and up to 56 x 32-dot LCD display.
