EPCOS PTC SMD Thermistor for LED
Lighting Thermal ManagementEPCOS developed the B59602 and B59603 series as PTC SMD Thermistors for thermal management in LED driver circuits. Constructed as ceramic PTC SMD thermistors, the B59602 and B59603 series feature a fast and reliable response and well defined R/T curves with a maximum operating voltage of 32V DC, operating temperature range -40°C to +125°C, response temperature range of 55⁰C to 105⁰C, resistance at 25⁰C (R25) range of 110Ω- 470Ω, and resistance tolerance of 15%. Compliant to RoHS directive 2002/95/EC, complete with lead-free tinned terminations, and suitable for reflow soldering, the EPCOS PTC SMD Thermistors for thermal management in LED driver circuits are also suited for applications such as DC/DC converters, home appliances, dimmers, electronic ballasts, over-temperature protection of power components, secondary protection of battery packs, SMPS, and notebooks.
