The layout and placement of the inductor is one of the most common reasons for power IC related failures and Enpirion solves this problem and reduces foot print, part count, and noise associated with switch-mode power conversion. Enpirion EN5322Q Buck Regulator
Enpirion’s EN5322QI high-efficiency synchronous buck converter features an integrated inductor, PWM controller, MOSFETs, and compensation providing the smallest possible solution size. The device comes in a tiny 6mm x 4mm x 1.1mm QFN package and integrates all converter functionality, while requiring only a single input and single output ceramic filter capacitor. The device has a wide 2.4V to 5.5V input range, a VID programmable output range from 0.6V to 3.3V, and is capable of sourcing a continuous 2A over the entire industrial temperature range.
