Displaytech Ltd. was established in Hong Kong in 1989 as a privately held LCD module manufacturer. Over the course of more than 20 years, Displaytech has become a major supplier of LCD modules as well as a contract manufacturer for display based PCB assemblies and turnkey products. Displaytech's customer base consists of small to large companies and includes many Tier 1 multinational corporations.
Displaytech DT070ATFT / DT070ATFT-TS 7" Color TFT LCD Displays are display modules that contain a TFT display with a 480 * 800 RGB resolution. The driver used for these Displaytech TFT displays is the Himax HX8264 + HX8664 (or compatible), which can display 16.7M colors. The driver is mounted on the glass and the interconnection via FPC, including components to drive the display module.
Displaytech Integrated TFT Display Modules are integrated display modules based upon TFT displays with 160 x 128RGB, 320 x 240RGB, 272 x 480 RGB, or 480 x 800 RGB resolution. The TFT modules are each mounted on a PCB on which is mounted a RAIO RA8872 or a Solomon SSD1961/3 controller with integrated touch screen control and PWM driving circuit for the LED backlight. Displaytech Integrated TFT Display Modules are automatically initialized upon power up by an on-board controller circuit.
Displaytech TFT Displays with New Drivers display up to 16.7M colors and are available in several dimensions. Displaytech TFT Displays with New Drivers range in diagonal size from 1.8" to 4.3" and are available with resolutions of 160 * 128 RGB, 320 * 240 RGB, and 272 * 480 RGB. The new drivers have been updated to include Ilitek ILI9163C, ILI9340, and ILI9320, Novatek NT39016D, and Himax HX8257-A. They are mounted on the glass and the interconnection via FPC, including components to drive the display module. These TFT Displays are suitable for a wide variety of industrial, medical, and consumer applications.
Displaytech's RGB Backlights feature composite red, green, and blue LEDs. The three colors can be connected and turned on individually or in combination to achieve a variety of colors. Displaytech's RGB Backlights were introduced as a way to provide a splash of color and added functionality to a black and white display. The RGB Backlights allow the user to use color as a status indicator that can be seen across the desk or across the room. Many applications benefit from this functionality when the user is not close enough to read the text or clearly see the images on the LCD.
