Displaytech TFT Displays with New Drivers display up to 16.7M colors and are available in several dimensions. Displaytech TFT Displays with New Drivers range in diagonal size from 1.8" to 4.3" and are available with resolutions of 160 * 128 RGB, 320 * 240 RGB, and 272 * 480 RGB. The new drivers have been updated to include Ilitek ILI9163C, ILI9340, and ILI9320, Novatek NT39016D, and Himax HX8257-A. They are mounted on the glass and the interconnection via FPC, including components to drive the display module. These TFT Displays are suitable for a wide variety of industrial, medical, and consumer applications.
Displaytech RGB Backlights
Displaytech's RGB Backlights feature composite red, green, and blue LEDs. The three colors can be connected and turned on individually or in combination to achieve a variety of colors. Displaytech's RGB Backlights were introduced as a way to provide a splash of color and added functionality to a black and white display. The RGB Backlights allow the user to use color as a status indicator that can be seen across the desk or across the room. Many applications benefit from this functionality when the user is not close enough to read the text or clearly see the images on the LCD.
Displaytech Chip-on-Glass (COG) Graphic Displays
Displaytech's Chip-on-Glass (COG) graphic displays improve dot density over conventional heat seal or zebra technology because the driver is directly attached to the LCD glass. Displaytech's COG graphic display's compact design saves space, weight, and cost. These standard modules feature resolutions from 128x32 to 240x128 dots and are offered with LED backlights in white, red, green, and blue.
