Cirrus Logic Energy Measurement ICs
Cirrus Logic Energy Measurement ICs are a high-accuracy energy measurement analog front end. These Energy Measurement ICs incorporate independent 4th order Delta-Sigma analog-to-digital converters for every channel, reference circuitry, and the proven EXL signal processing core to provide active, reactive and apparent energy measurement. RMS and power factor calculations for these Energy Measurement ICs are available and are output via a configurable energy pulse, or direct SPI/UART serial access to on-chip registers. Cirrus Logic Energy Measurement ICs also provide instantaneous current, voltage and power measurements that are available over the serial port.
Cirrus Logic CS5505 Very Low Power 16-Bit A/D Converter
The Cirrus Logic CS5505 is a Very Low Power 16-bit CMOS Analog-to-Digital (A/D) Converter which is ideal for measuring low-frequency signals representing physical, chemical and biological processes. This Cirrus Logic A/D Converter includes on-chip self-calibration circuitry which can be initiated at any time or temperature to ensure minimum offset and full-scale errors. The CS5505 serial port offers two general-purpose modes for the direct interface to shift registers or synchronous serial ports of industry-standard microcontrollers.
Cirrus Logic Power Monitor Reference Design

The Cirrus Logic CS8427 stereo digital audio transceiver features AES3 and serial digital audio inputs and AES3 and serial digital audio outputs and includes comprehensive control ability through a 4-wire microcontroller port. Channel status and user data are assembled in block-sized buffers, making read / modify / write cycles easy. A low-jitter clock recovery mechanism included on the Cirrus Logic CS8427 audio transceiver yields a very clean recovered clock from the incoming AES3 stream. Target applications for the Cirrus Logic CS8427 include A/V receivers, CD-R, DVD receivers, multimedia speakers, digital mixing consoles, effects processors, set-top boxes, and computer and automotive audio systems.
Cirrus Logic CS4335 Stereo Digital-to-Analog Converter
The Cirrus Logic CS4335 24-bit, 96 kHz stereo Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) is a complete, stereo DAC output system. The Cirrus Logic CS4335 is based on Delta-Sigma modulation, where the modulator output controls the reference voltage input to an ultra-linear analog low-pass filter. The architecture allows for infinite adjustment of sample rate between 2 kHz and 100 kHz simply by changing the master clock frequency. The CS4335 DAC contains on-chip digital de-emphasis, operates from a single +5V power supply, and requires minimal support circuitry.

The Cirrus Logic CS4354 is a 24-bit stereo audio digital to analog converter (DAC) with an on-chip 2Vrms line driver working from a single 5V power supply. The CS4354 24-bit stereo audio DAC features an efficient design, low out of band noise, and low pop noise levels. This Cirrus Logic device is based on a charge pump architecture and outputs a 2Vrms voltage without the need for high voltage regulator. The CS4354 also features a ground-centered output architecture, removing the need for external DC blocking capacitors and any pop prevention circuit.
