Delivers Low Idle Current Consumption and Minimal EMI

Cirrus Logic CS35L0x low-power, hybrid Class-D audio amplifiers for mobile communications and portable devices help solve multiple system challenges encountered by designers in the areas of extending battery life, improving audio quality, simplifying signal management, and reducing EMI while enabling smaller form factors. CS35L0x audio amplifiers feature an advanced closed-loop architecture and combine Class D efficiency and output power with low idle current consumption and minimal EMI found typically only in Class AB amplifiers. These 3.0W Cirrus Logic devices consume only 0.94mA of quiescent current, 40 percent less than the nearest competitor. The CS35L0x is ideal for use in smart phones, portable gaming, active speakers, portable navigation devices, laptops / netbooks, and more.

CS35L0x Development Tools

The Cirrus Logic CDB35L00 and CRD35L01 allow designers to evaluate the functions and capabilities of CS35L0x audio amplifiers. The CDB35L00 is a demo board that demonstrates the features of the CS35L0x. The CRD35L01 is a reference design that shows how the CS35L0x functions within an application.
