ZigBee compliant system-on-chip (SoC) radio IC. The MeshConnect EM35x Ember Companion Kit
is designed to work with the Ember development kits (EM35X-DEV and EM35X-DEV-IAR). Each module in the kit is soldered on a carrier board making it pin-for-pin compatible with the Ember development board.

The IC is a single-chip solution, compliant with IEEE 802.15.4 specifications--a complete wireless solution for all applications. The IC consists of an RF transceiver with baseband modem, a hardwired MAC, and an embedded 8051 microcontroller with internal Flash memory. The device provides numerous general-purpose I/O pins, peripheral functions such as timers and UARTs, and is one of the first devices to provide an embedded Voice CODEC. This device is also ideal for low power applications.
CEL PS9505 and PS9505L3 photocouplers are optically coupled isolators containing a GaAIAs LED on the input side and a photo diode, a signal processing circuit, and a power output transistor on the output side on one chip. The CEL PS9505 and PS505L3 photocouplers are designed for high common mode transient immunity, high output current, and high switching speed. These CEL photocouplers are suitable for driving IGBTs and MOSFETs. The PS9505 comes in a plastic DIP package. The PS9505L3 is a lead bending type (Gull-wing) for surface mounting.
