Featuring low- and ultra-low capacitance with Level 4 IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection, the Bourns TVS/Steering Diode arrays are ideal for high speed communication port applications such as HDMI, DVI, and USB ports.
Bourns TBU™ Circuit Protection Devices
The Bourns TBU™ series is the first new approach to circuit protection in a decade and the winner of EDN's 2008 Innovation in Power Semiconductors. These devices
provide an effective barrier in nanoseconds by blocking a transient
through a current disconnecting mechanism rather than diverting or
shunting the surge to ground. These Bourns TBU (transient blocking unit) devices are high speed surge protection components designed to protect against faults caused by short circuits, AC power cross, induction, and lightning surges. All Bourns TBU products are resettable for
full functionality after multiple fault events, offer a high bandwidth
of 3 GHz, and are designed for telecommunication, industrial, and data
communications systems.
Bourns SinglFuse™ Chip Fuse
The SinglFuse™ thin film Chip Fuse from Bourns, in either a slow blow or fast acting type, features rated currents from 0.5 to 7.0 amps, surface mounts for automated assembly, a miniature footprint, UL certification, and RoHS compliance. The Bourns´ SinglFuse Chip Fuse series offers a range of fusing times, resistances, rated voltages, and breaking capacities. The thin film fuse is ideal for portable consumer electronics, computer peripherals, battery chargers, and industrial controller applications.
Bourns TVS Diode Array
The Bourns TVS (transient voltage suppressor) Diode Array provides cost-effective, space-savings for PCB layouts. With a flat configuration, the chip diode provides ESD, EFT, and surge protection, working peak voltages from 2.8V to 170V, unidirectional and bidirectional, as well as standard, low, and ultra-low configurations. The Bourns TVS Diode Array is ideal for a wide selection of applications including cellular and GPS antennae, high-speed communication ports, fast communication ports, portable electronics, and industrial controls.
