Bivar L2 Starboard Light Engines with Cree XLamp LEDs are the first light engines available in the industry to offer Cree's XLamp LEDs on a starboard. These starboard light engines are optimized for high output, high color rendering index (CRI), and lighting uniformity, making them ideal for directional lighting applications in both indoor and outdoor environments. They deliver light with consistent CCT in a highly efficient package that enables true halogen performance in a thermally constrained design. The L2 family features Cree's XLamp design, which provides efficient, environmentally-friendly LED lighting and high light output in a small form factor. Additionally, the L2 family has a unique case temperature test point for engineers to confirm the effectiveness of their thermal management, while maximizing the luminous output with the junction temperature under control. Optional pin headers allow for quick hook-up, thus eliminating the delicate soldering process. The L2 family is comprised of three product series: the PG Series featuring Cree XLamp XP-G LEDs, the ML Series with Cree XLamp XM-L LEDs, and the TG Series with Cree XLamp XT-G LEDs.
BIVAR Nylon, Metal, Quick Mount, & IP67-Rated Panel Mount Indicators are designed to address machine to human communication, in which light is transferred from LED to the human eye to convey a message. This wide variety of indicator solutions is made to efficiently move light to the front panel in any number of consumer or industrial applications, including security, medical, computing, transportation, and communication. Bringing flexibility to designers, BIVAR's panel mount indicators take into account a number of key considerations including the distance from LED source to panel, size and brightness, type of material best suited to the application, and indoor versus outdoor conditions. The new IP67 rated panel mount assemblies address tough outdoor conditions, and are totally protected against dust and immersion up to 1m. Bivar's panel mount assemblies are designed for a variety of applications from x-ray scanning machines, electrical control panels, and instrumental panels, to vending and gaming machines, exercise equipment and outdoor sportsman equipment, to military robots and unmanned aerial vehicles. They are available in standard nylon, quick mount nylon, IP67 rated nylon, standard metal, IP67 rated metal, and EMC UL rated metal.
BIVAR Flexible Light Pipe Lenses are designed for light pipes that return flexibility to the designer and eliminate components and costly assembly steps. The result is a practical and economical indication solution. Light pipes are the perfect solution for moving light from the source to the destination. Bivar's light pipes act as a conduit for the light allowing for distances of a few millimeters up to 100 meters. These flexible light pipe lenses are available with a clear flat or round surface, for LED sizes of 4.2mm, 5mm, or 7mm. The FLP25-10.0 and FLPF-10.0 lenses also feature a 2mm fiber optic core.
The BIVAR PMR4 Series Panel Mount Rectangular LED Indicators are 2mm x 4mm single indicators available in 7 colors. This new panel mount series fits 0.047" or thicker panel with a 0.218 x .137" mounting hole. The BIVAR PMR4 Series Panel Mount Rectangular LED Indicators feature a diffused lens, wide view angle, press fit, 94V-0 rated Engineering Plastic Holder, and are RoHS compliant. Indicators only, no wires.
Bivar's RLP Series Multistation Right Angle Light Pipe is available with 1 - 4 stations and multiple elevations & protrusions in a standard stock item. Jacket minimizes color bleeding, improves rigidity and transmission of light. Direct-mount PCB assembly features positive locking snap. Bivar's RLP Series Multistation Right Angle Light Pipe works well with PLCC2 and PLCC4 surface mount packages and is ideal in high vibration environments.
The BIVAR ORCAdapt, Complete Light Pipe System connects an
ORCA LED to a light pipe system to route light from a PCB
to an area of indication. The BIVAR ORCAdapt, Complete Light
Pipe System supports the new BIVAR ORCA Super Flux LEDs and
brings together ORCA LEDs with the current BIVAR 1MM and
new 2MM Flexible Light Pipe System. These ORCA adapters
feature 30 degree viewing angles for optimized light output and support
single, bi-color, and tri-color Super Flux LEDs.

BIVAR ORCA Flux LED series lens geometries include dome, oval, and flat to provide viewing angles of 30 degrees, 45 degrees, 80 degrees, and wide 160 degrees. The operational life of the BIVAR ORCA Flux LED series is up to 100,000 hours when operated within specified limits. The BIVAR ORCA Flux LED features a 7.6 mm x 7.6 mm package designed to withstand high levels of shock and
vibration that would otherwise damage traditional LED packages and
filament-based light sources.
BIVAR Ultraviolet (UV) LEDs include Thru-Hole and Surface Mount (SMD) options. Bivar UV LEDs include the TZ series and SM1206 devices. The TZ series features peak wavelengths in the highly desirable ranges from 390 to 450 nm with a tight tolerance of ± 2.5 nm. These BIVAR UV LEDs also have a built-in Zener Diode that provides circuit protection against ESD. BIVAR SM1206 devices are blue 395 to 405 nm SMD UV LEDs.
