Vishay/BC Components' automotive-grade Mono-Axial and Mono-Kap (A & K) Series consist of robust, highly reliable MLCCs manufactured in precious metal technology (PMT/NME) with a wet build process and qualified according to AEC-Q200 with PPAP available upon request. The automotive-grade Mono-Axial and Mono-Kap Series from Vishay/BC Components feature coppery steel wire lead terminations with a 100% tin plate matte finish and an epoxy coating that provides mechanical strength for assembly extended-life environmental protection.

Vishay/BC Components' VY2 Series AC Line Rated Disc Capacitors offer capacitance range of 10pF to 0.01µF and minimum insulation resistance (IR) of 10,000 MΩ. The VY2 Series AC Line Rated Disc Capacitors from Vishay/BC Components also offer high reliability and compliance to RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC in accordance to WEEE 2002/96/EC. VY2 series capacitors have a ceramic disc, both sides of which are silver-plated. Halogen-free available.

Vishay/BC Components has expanded the VY1 Series AC Line Rated Disc Capacitors product line to include a RoHS-compliant and halogen-free version.
Vishay/BC Components offers VY1 AC Line Rated Disc Capacitors with a capacitance range of 10 pF - 4700 pF and capacitance tolerance of ±10% - ±20%. VY1 AC Line Rated Disc Capacitors consist of a ceramic disc both sides of which are silver-plated and and are compliant to RoHS directive 2002/95/EC and in accordance to WEEE 2002/96/EC. Connection leads are made of tinned copper having a diameter of 0.6 mm. Applications for the Vishay BC Components VY1 AC Line Rated Disc Capacitors are across-the-line, line by-pass, and antenna coupling.
