LaunchPad Development Boards
LaunchPads are low-cost microcontroller development kits from Texas Instruments with a variety of types to address various project needs. All LaunchPad kits include everything you need to begin developing applications in minutes, and there are several BoosterPack plug-in modules to quickly extend functionality like capacitive sensing, energy harvesting, temperature sensing, wireless communication, and much more. The LaunchPad and BoosterPack plug-in modules, open source tools, and various forums form a community around creating embedded designs with the LaunchPad. The LaunchPad ecosystem is also supported by a growing ecosystem of third party and community-driven software tools, including open source software.
Texas Instruments MSP430 LaunchPad
The Texas Instruments MSP-EXP430G2 LaunchPad experimenter board is a complete USB-based development and experimenter tool providing everything you need to launch your own MSP430 Value Line applications. The TI MSP-EXP430G2 LaunchPad includes an integrated DIP target socket that supports up to 20 pins, allowing MSP430 Value Line devices to be dropped into the LaunchPad board. An on-board flash emulation tool allows direct interface to a PC for easy programming, debugging, and evaluation. Included are free and downloadable software development environments for writing and debugging software. The TI LaunchPad can be used to create interactive solutions thanks to its on-board push buttons, LEDs, and extra input/output pins for easy integration of external devices.

Texas Instruments LAUNCHXL-F28027 C2000 Piccolo LaunchPad is an evaluation platform designed to help the user leap right into the world of real-time control programming on the C2000 Piccolo microcontrollers. TI LAUNCHXL-F28027 LaunchPad is based on the Piccolo TMS320F28027 MCU that features 64KB of on board flash, 8 PWM channels, eCAP, 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC), I²C, SPI, UART, and much more. The LaunchPad includes many board hardware features, such as an integrated isolated XDS100 JTAG emulator for easy programming and debugging, 40 PCB pins for easy access to the pins of the F28027 processor, reset button, and programmable button.
