STMicroelectronics STM32 Nucleo Development Boards are designed to support users who want to get familiar with the features of the entire STM32 MCU family. These boards are ideal for quick prototyping, and the standardised connectivity allows the designer to build and reuse add-on hardware across the whole portfolio of Nucleo boards. The board connectors are compatible with Arduino, and a new standardized ST connector (Morpho) which gives access to all IOs available on the MCU. The board comes with ready-to use software examples and is supported by IAR and Keil development tools, as well as GCC based IDEs. Each of these boards contain an ST-LINK/V2-1 in-circuit debugger and programmer, which can be used either with the on-board MCU or – in standalone mode – with any other applications containing an STM32 MCU.

Netduino 2

Netduino 2 Open Source Electronics Platform

Netduino 2 is the upgrade of the classic Netduino, an open source electronics platform using the .NET Micro Framework, which combines the ease of high-level coding with the raw features of microcontrollers. Featuring a 32-bit microcontroller and a rich development environment, the Netduino 2 is suitable for engineers and hobbyists alike. Netduino 2 has three times the speed (120MHz), 50% more code space (192KB), and many more features than the original Netduino. The board provides 22 GPIOs with SPI, I²C, 4 UARTs (1 RTS/CTS), 6 PWM, and 6 ADC channels. And it leverages the new Arduino R3 shield format while maintaining 5V tolerance for compatibility with existing shields. Netduino 2 offers event-based programming, multi-threading, line-by-line debugging, breakpoints, and more. It is also pin-compatible with even more Arduino shields than the original, including "Rev C" Arduino shields and higher-current shields. As Netduino is an open source electronics platform, all design files and source code are included.

Netduino Plus 2

Netduino Plus 2 Open Source Electronics Platform

Netduino Plus 2 is an Open Source Electronics Platform based on the original Netduino platform. It uses the .NET Micro Framework, which combines the ease of high-level coding with the raw features of microcontrollers. Featuring a 32-bit microcontroller and a rich development environment, the Netduino Plus 2 is suitable for engineers and hobbyists alike. The Netduino Plus includes all the hardware features of the Netduino, plus MicroSD storage capabilities and an Ethernet jack for fast integrated IP networking. The Netduino Plus 2 has four times the speed (168MHz), six times the code space (384KB), and twice the available RAM (100KB+) of Netduino Plus 1. It also comes with a whole series of rich new features including four serial ports, six PWM channels, and 12-bit ADC. The 6-pin ICSP header has been swapped out for a 10-pin MiniJTAG header. The Netduino Plus 2 enables developers to compile their own firmware using GCC and debug both native and managed code at the same time. As Netduino is an open source electronics platform, all design files and source code are included.
