Analog Devices ADL5303 Data Converter

Analog Devices ADL5303 Data Converter is a monolithic logarithmic detector optimized to measure low frequency signal power in fiber optic systems. Thanks to a proprietary design and precise laser trimming, ADL5303 delivers a high degree of accuracy in a large measurement range.The ADL5303 requires only a single positive supply, VPS, of 5V. When using low supply voltages, designers can alter the log slope to fit the available span. Low quiescent current and chip disable facilitate use in battery-operated applications. The ADL5303 Data Converter is especially well-suited for high accuracy optical power measurement, wide range baseband log compression, and versatile detector for APC loop applications.

Analog Devices AD9364 Integrated RF Transceiver

Analog Devices AD9364 is a high performance, highly integrated radio frequency (RF) Agile Transceiver™ designed for use in 3G and 4G base station applications. The device combines an RF front end with a flexible mixed-signal baseband section and integrated frequency synthesizers. The transmitter uses a direct conversion architecture that achieves high modulation accuracy with ultra low noise. The on-board transmit (Tx) power monitor can be used as a power detector, enabling highly accurate Tx power measurements. The fully integrated phase-locked loops (PLLs) provide low power fractional-N frequency synthesis for all Rx and Tx channels. All VCO and loop filter components are integrated. The core of the AD9364 can be powered directly from a 1.3 V regulator. The IC is controlled via a standard 4-wire serial port and four real-time input control pins. Comprehensive power-down modes are included to minimize power consumption during normal use. Analog Devices AD9364 wideband capability make it ideal for a broad range of transceiver applications.

ADI AD9361 RF Agile Transceiver

ADI AD9361 is a high performance, highly integrated RF Agile Transceiver™. Its programmability and wideband capability make it ideal for a broad range of transceiver applications. The device combines an RF front end with a flexible mixed-signal baseband section and integrated frequency synthesizers, simplifying design-in by providing a configurable digital interface to a processor. The AD9361 operates in the 70 MHz to 6.0 GHz range, covering most licensed and unlicensed bands. Channel bandwidths from less than 200 kHz to 56 MHz are supported. The AD9361 is packaged in a 10 mm × 10 mm, 144-ball chip scale package ball grid array (CSP_BGA).

ADI AD9249 Analog to Digital Converter

ADI AD9249 Analog to Digital Converter is 16-channel, 14-bit, 65 MSPS ADC with an on-chip sample-and-hold circuit that is designed for low cost, low power, small size, and ease of use. The device operates at a conversion rate of up to 65 MSPS and is optimized for outstanding dynamic performance and low power in applications where a small package size is critical. The ADC requires a single 1.8 V power supply and an LVPECL-/ CMOS-/LVDS-compatible sample rate clock for full performance operation. No external reference or driver components are required for many applications. The AD9249 automatically multiplies the sample rate clock for the appropriate LVDS serial data rate. Data clock outputs (DCO±1, DCO±2) for capturing data on the output and frame clock outputs (FCO±1, FCO±2) for signaling a new output byte are provided. Individual channel power-down is supported, and the device typically consumes less than 2 mW when all channels are disabled. The ADC contains several features designed to maximize flexibility and minimize system cost, such as programmable clock and data alignment and programmable digital test pattern generation. The AD9249 is available in an RoHS-compliant, 144-ball CSP-BGA. It is specified over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C.

ADI ADAU1452 SigmaDSP Digital Audio Processor

ADI ADAU1452 SigmaDSP Digital Audio Processor  is automotive-qualified and far exceeds the digital signal processing capabilities of earlier SigmaDSP® devices. Its restructured hardware architecture is optimized for efficient audio processing. The audio processing algorithms are realized in sample-by-sample and block-by-block paradigms, which can both be executed simultaneously in a signal processing flow created using the graphical programming tool, SigmaStudio™. The new digital signal processor (DSP) core architecture enables some types of audio processing algorithms to be executed using significantly fewer instructions than were required on previous SigmaDSP generations, leading to vastly improved code efficiency.

Analog Devices ADuM7223 Isolated Precision Half-Bridge Driver

Analog Devices' ADuM7223 is a 4.0A isolated, half-bridge gate driver designed using Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology to provide independent and isolated high-side and low-side outputs. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic transformer technology, these isolation components offer outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as the combination of pulse transformers and non-isolated gate drivers. Featuring two independent isolation channels, ADuM7223 operates with an input supply ranging from 3.0V to 5.5V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems. The outputs operate in a wide range from 4.5V to 18V with three output voltage versions available. The 5mm × 5mm, LGA package provides 565V operating voltage from input to output and 700V from output to output. By integrating the isolator and driver in a single package, propagation delay is a maximum of only 64ns, and the propagation skew from channel to channel is a maximum of only 12ns at 12V. Compared to gate drivers using high voltage level translation methodologies,  ADuM7223 offers the benefit of true, galvanic isolation between the input and each output. As a result, this gate driver provides reliable control over the switching characteristics of IGBT/MOSFET configurations over a wide range of positive or negative switching voltages.

Analog Devices AD-DPGIOZ Data Pattern Generator/Receiver

Analog Devices AD-DPGIOZ Data Pattern Generator/Receiver provides pattern generation and receiving capabilities to compliment several evaluation boards from Analog Devices. DPGI/O connects to a PC over USB, and allows a user to download a vector from their PC into the DPGI/O’s internal memory, or to receive a vector from an evaluation board and transfer it to the PC.

Analog Devices AD8418A Bidirectional, Current Sense Amplifier

Analog Devices AD8418A Bidirectional, Current Sense Amplifier is a high voltage, high resolution current shunt amplifier featuring an initial gain of 20 V/V, with a maximum ±0.2% gain error. Qualified for automotive applications, the device provides breakthrough performance throughout the −40°C to +125°C operating temperature range. The EMI filters and patented circuitry enable output accuracy with pulse-width modulation (PWM) type input common-mode voltages. AD8418A offers a typical input offset voltage of  ±200 μV and an excellent input common-mode rejection ratio of 86 dB, dc to 10 kHz from −2 V to +70 V. The zero drift core leads to a typical offset drift of 0.1 μV/°C throughout the operating temperature and the common-mode voltage range. The design makes the AD8418A Current Sense Amplifier ideal for performing bidirectional current measurements across a shunt resistor in a variety of automotive and industrial applications including motor control, power management, and solenoid control.


Analog Devices ADuM124x Dual-Channel Digital Isolators

Analog Devices ADuM124x Dual-Channel Digital Isolators are micropower digital isolators that are based on the Analog Devices iCoupler® technology. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technologies, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives, such as optocoupler devices, yet consume extremely low power. This series of dual, 3.75kVrms digital isolation devices operate with supplies as low as 2.25V and typically consume a minimal current of less than 6μA per channel at data rates below 20kbps, a fraction of the power of comparable isolators at comparable data rates (up to 2Mbps). In addition, all models provide low pulse width distortion (<8ns) and an input glitch filter for extraneous noise disturbance protection. All models operate with an independent supply voltage on either side (between 2.25V and 3.6V), providing compatibility with lower voltage systems and enabling voltage level translation functionality across the isolation barrier. In the absence of input power, the products default to a predetermined output logic state: the ADuM1240 and ADuM1241 default to high output, and the ADuM1245 and ADuM1246 default to low output.

Analog Devices ADM7151 RF Linear Regulator

Analog Devices ADM7151 RF Linear Regulator is a low dropout (LDO) linear regulator that operates from 4.5V to 16V and provides up to 800mA of output current. Using an advanced proprietary architecture, it provides high power supply rejection (>90dB from 1kHz to 1MHz), ultra-low noise, and excellent line and load transient response with a 10μF ceramic output capacitor. The output voltage can be set to any voltage between 1.5V and 4.0V with two resistors. The ADM7151 regulator output noise is 1.0μV rms from 100Hz to 100kHz, and the noise spectral density is 1.7nV/√Hz from 10kHz to 1MHz. The ADM7151 is a very compact solution, and also provides excellent thermal performance for applications requiring up to 800 mA of output current in a small, low profile footprint.

Analog Devices ADV7281-M/ADV7282-M Video Decoders

Analog Devices ADV7281-M/ADV7282-M video decoders are versatile one-chip, multiformat decoders that automatically detect standard analog baseband video signals compatible with worldwide NTSC, PAL, and SECAM standards in the form of composite, S-Video, and component video. The ADV7281-M/ADV7282-M converts the analog video signals into a YCrCb 4:2:2 video data stream that is compatible with the 8-bit ITU-R BT.656 interface standard. The ADV7281-M/ADV7282-M convert the analog video signals into an 8-bit YCrCb 4:2:2 video data stream that is output over a mobile industry processor interface (MIPI) CSI-2 interface. The analog video inputs of the ADV7281-M/ADV7282-M accept single-ended, pseudo differential, and fully differential signals. The ADV7282-M contains a deinterlacer (I2P con-verter) and short to battery detection capability with two STB diagnostic pins. The ADV7281-M/ADV7282-M provides six analog inputs, two STB diagnostic pins, and three general-purpose outputs. The ADV7281-M/ADV7282-M are programmed via a 2-wire, serial bidirectional port (I2C compatible) and are fabricated in a 1.8V CMOS process. The LFCSP package option makes these decoders ideal for space-constrained portable applications.

Analog Devices ADDI7013 CCD Signal Processor

Analog Devices ADDI7013 CCD signal processor is a highly integrated, dual-channel, processor for high speed digital imaging applications. Each channel is specified at pixel rates of up to 75MHz and consists of a complete analog front end (AFE) with analog-to-digital conversion. The Precision Timing core allows adjustment of the correlated double sampler (CDS) and horizontal clocks with 210ps resolution at 75MHz operation. There are eight independent horizontal clock outputs with programmable drive strength to support a variety of CCD timing requirements. Each analog front end includes black level clamping, a CDS, a VGA, and a 75MSPS, 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC). Operation is programmed using a 3-wire serial interface. Analog Devices ADDI7013 CCD signal processor is packaged in a space-saving, 6mm × 6mm, CSP_BGA and is specified over an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

Analog Devices AD8418 Current Sense AMP

Analog Devices AD8418 current sense amplifier features an initial gain of 20V/V, with a maximum ±0.15% gain error over the entire temperature range. The buffered output voltage directly interfaces with any typical converter. The AD8418 offers excellent input common-mode rejection from -2V to +70V. The AD8418 performs bidirectional current measurements across a shunt resistor in a variety of automotive and industrial applications, including motor control, battery management, and solenoid control. The AD8418 offers breakthrough performance throughout the -40°C to +125°C temperature range. It features a zero drift core, which leads to a typical offset drift of 0.1µV/°C throughout the operating temperature range and the common-mode voltage range. Analog Devices ADuM144x Quad-Channel Digital Isolators

Analog Devices ADuM144x Quad-Channel Digital Isolators are micropower devices based on iCoupler® technology. ADI ADuM144x isolators combine high speed, CMOS, and monolithic air core transformer technologies to provide outstanding performance characteristics compared to optocoupler devices. These ADI digital isolators also offer the lowest power of any isolation device on the market. The ENX signals can be used to disable the internal refresh, which lowers the total quiescent current to less than 1µA. These devices free almost 70% of board space but can still withstand high isolation voltages and meet regulatory requirements. ADuM144x isolators operate with supplies as low as 2.25V. This device family also provides low, pulse width distortion <8ns. These devices also have an input glitch filter to protect against extraneous noise disturbances.

Analog Devices ADA466x Precision CMOS Operational Amplifiers

Analog Devices ADA466x Precision CMOS Operational Amplifiers are dual, precision, rail-to-rail input/output amplifier optimized for low power, high bandwidth, and wide operating supply voltage range applications. The ADA466x performance is guaranteed at 3.0V, 10V, and 18V power supply voltages. It is an excellent selection for applications that use single-ended supplies of 3.3V, 5V, 10V, 12V and 15V, and dual supplies of ±2.5V, ±3.3V, and ±5V. Analog Devices AD8229HDZ Instrumentation Amplifier

Analog Devices AD8229HDZ ultra-low noise instrumentation amplifier measures small signals in the presence of large common-mode voltages and high temperatures. AD8229HDZ’s design architecture compensates for the low VBE voltages at high temperatures. The process is dielectrically isolated to avoid leakage currents at high temperatures. It delivers industry leading 1 nV/√Hz input noise performance, and is one of the industry's fastest instrumentation amplifiers. Analog Devices AD5687/AD5687R Dual 16-/12-Bit nanoDAC+™

Analog Devices AD5687/AD5687R Dual 16-/12-Bit nanoDAC+™ are low power, dual, 16-/12-bit, buffered voltage output digital-to-analog converters (DACs). The devices include a gain select pin giving a full-scale output of 2.5V (gain = 1) or 5V (gain = 2). The AD5687/AD5687R operate from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply, are guaranteed monotonic by design, and exhibit less than 0.1% FSR gain error and 1.5mV offset error performance. Devices are available in a 3mm × 3mm LFCSP and a TSSOP package. The AD5687/AD8687R also incorporate a power-on reset circuit and a RSTSEL pin that ensure that the DAC outputs power up to zero scale or midscale and remain there until a valid write takes place. Each part contains a per channel power-down feature that reduces the current consumption of the device to 4μA at 3V while in power-down mode. The AD5687/AD5687R use a versatile serial peripheral interface that operates at clock rates up to 50MHz. Each device contains a VLOGIC pin that is intended for 1.8V/3V/5V logic.

Analog Devices ADM3485E Low Power Data Transceiver

Analog Devices ADM3485E Low Power Data Transceiver provides ±15kV ESD protection and is suitable for half-duplex communication on multipoint bus transmission lines. The ADM3485E is designed for balanced data transmission and complies with TIA/EIA standards RS-485 and RS-422. The ADM3485E is a half-duplex transceiver that shares differential lines and has separate enable inputs for the driver and the receiver. The devices have a 12kΩ receiver input impedance, which allows up to 32 transceivers on a bus. Because only one driver should be enabled at any time, the output of a disabled or powered-down driver is tristated to avoid overloading the bus. The receiver has a fail-safe feature that ensures a logic high output when the inputs are floating. Excessive power dissipation caused by bus contention or by output shorting is prevented with a thermal shutdown circuit.

Analog Devices ADL5511 RF RMS Detector

Analog Devices ADL5511 RF RMS Detector is an RF envelope and TruPwr™ rms detector. The envelope output voltage is presented as a voltage that is proportional to the envelope of the input signal. The rms output voltage is independent of the peak-to-average ratio of the input signal. The rms output is a linear-in-V/V voltage with a conversion gain of 1.9V/Vrms at 900MHz. The envelope output has a conversion gain of 1.46V/V at 900MHz and is referenced to an internal 1.1V reference voltage, which is available on the EREF pin. The ADL5511 can operate from dc to 6GHz on signals with envelope bandwidths up to 130MHz. The extracted envelope can be used for RF power amplifier (PA) linearization and efficiency enhancements and the rms output can be used for rms power measurement. The high rms accuracy and fast envelope response are particularly useful for envelope detection and power measurement of broadband, high peak-to-average signals that are used in CDMA2000, W-CDMA, and LTE systems.

Analog Devices AD5689 Dual 16-Bit nanoDAC+

Analog Devices AD5689 Dual 16-Bit nanoDAC+ is a member of the nanoDAC+™ family low power, dual, 16-bit, buffered voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC). It includes a gain select pin giving a full-scale output of 2.5V (gain = 1) or 5V (gain = 2). The AD5689 operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply, are guaranteed monotonic by design, and exhibit less than 0.1% FSR gain error and 1.5mV offset error performance. Analog Devices ADuM4160 USB Digital Isolator

Analog Devices ADuM4160 USB Digital Isolator is a USB port isolator based on iCoupler® technology. ADI ADuM4160 combines high speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technology to provide outstanding performance characteristics. The device is easily integrated with low and full speed USB-compatible peripheral devices. ADuM4160 provides mechanisms for detecting the direction of data flow and control over the state of the output buffers. Data direction is determined on a packet-by-packet basis. ADI ADuM4160 uses the edge detection based iCoupler technology in conjunction with internal logic to implement a transparent, easily configured, upstream facing port isolator. Isolating an upstream facing port provides several advantages in simplicity, power management, and robust operation. The isolator has propagation delay comparable to that of a standard hub and cable. It operates with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 3.1 V to 5.5 V, allowing connection directly to VBUS by internally regulating the voltage to the signaling level. ADuM4160 provides isolated control of the pull-up resistor to allow the peripheral to control connection timing.
