The Amphenol PCD ATEX Rugged Ethernet Connection System features the first Ethernet connectors for applications in zone 2 and Class I Division 2 explosive environments in response to the current trend in the ATEX market toward limiting the expensive equipment in zone 1 and installing it in zone 2, where constraints are much less demanding. The Amphenol PCD ATEX Rugged Ethernet Connection System is an extension of the RJ FIELD and USB FIELD ranges, incorporating their patented and recognized RJStop® connection system for simple, rapid conversion of any standard Ethernet cable into a connection with IP68 ingress protection against shocks, dust, and fluids. The metal cases have been strengthened to meet the mechanical resistance criteria of EN 60079-15.
Amphenol PCD FWF TV IEEE1394A Connection System
The Amphenol PCD Firewire Connection System is IP68 rated for harsh environments. With FW Field, you can insert a standard IEEE 1394A cordset into a metallic plug which will protect it from shocks, dust, and fluids with no tools or in-field labeling necessary. The metallic plug is connected into a receptacle using a Tri Start Thread coupling mechanism (MIL-DTL-389999 series III type) with an anti-decoupling device for high vibration
environments such as railways, communication systems, embedded
computers, shipboard systems, process control, robotics, and
automation. The Amphenol PCD Firewire Connection System requires no assembly tools and transmits data 400 Mbits/second over 4.5 meters.

Amphenol PCD´s RJF Industrial Ethernet Connection System is IP68 sealed for harsh environment
applications such as industrial process control, oil & gas, motion
control, robotics, wind energy, data acquisition, and transmission. The
RJF system allows the use of an Ethernet Class D / Cat. 5e connection for 10BaseT, 100BaseTX or 1000 BaseT networks in harsh environments. With the patented RJStop® system, the Amphenol PCD RJF Industrial Ethernet Connection System can use a standard RJ45
cordset in a metallic plug which will protect it from shocks, dust, and
fluids. No tools or hazardous on-field cabling is necessary.
Amphenol PCD Miniature Push Pull Circular Connector
Amphenol PCD´s Miniature Push Pull Circular Connector SCE (Snatch Connector Electrical)
series features a silent push-to-mate, pull-to-release design across
two styles of cable receptacles with o-ring seals inside and out.
Eliminating the path for moisture and dust, the durable brass inserts
and contacts are molded in place to achieve high environmental sealing
to IP68 mated and unmated. The snatch-push design is fully grounded and
cannot be locked when mated.
Amphenol PCD Rugged USB Memory Key
The extremely rugged and waterproof USB Memory Key from Amphenol is ideal for downloading and uploading up to 4 gigabytes of data. The memory keys
are available in capacities up to 4G, are IP68 sealed, have metallic
shells with various platings, and come with a USB cordset. To ensure
security, USB Keys can be encrypted to protect valuable data. The USBF Key
can be used with standard USB-A ports and the small, egg-shape design
makes it easy for users to carry with them. The USBFTVKey is based on
the MIL-DTL-38999 series III shell and must be used with USBFTV
receptacles.
