Amphenol Aerospace Heavy Duty Class L Commercial MIL-DTL-22992 Connectors
are offered as a lower-cost, commercial version of the heavy duty power
connectors critical for rugged environmental conditions. These
connectors feature MIL-DTL-22992 Class L insert arrangements and an arc
quenching design to protect users and equipment if connectors are
inadvertently disconnected under load. A programmed coupling sequence
ensure grounding and neutral contacts engage before power contacts.
Constructed using a high strength aluminum and an unique combination of
grommets and seals, these rugged connectors provide waterproofing in any
condition - mated or unmated, capped or uncapped.
Amphenol Aerospace HD38999 Connectors offer 30% more contact density
than the highest density Mil Spec 38999 connectors of its size. Designed
using mil-specified 38999 components, mil-qualified 39029 size 23
contacts, and mil-qualified 38999 insert materials, these connectors are
essentially a drop-in replacement for the standard 38999 connector. The
design allows the user to increase the number of contacts without
increasing the size of their connector. To meet reduced system size
requirements, users can select smaller shell sizes without decreasing
the number of contacts. Amphenol Aerospace qualified their connectors to
the requirements of MIL-DTL-38999 making the HD38999 Connectors
well-suited for applications such as avionics, C4I, commercial airframe, military vehicles, space, radar for ground and air, and missile and ordinance.
Compliant with the MIL-DTL-26482 standard for harsh environments, Amphenol's MIL-DTL-26482 Series II Matrix® Circular Connectors feature an environmentally-resistant design, rear insertable/releaseable contacts to protect the front of the connector, and contacts rated to SAE AS39029. Additional features include 3-point bayonet lock system, 5 key/keyway design, and visual confirmation of complete coupling. The Amphenol MIL-DTL-26482 Series II Matrix® Circular Connectors have a recommended operating voltage of 1,000 VAC (RMS), -65⁰C to 200⁰C operating temperature range, and 500 mating cycles minimum. This series is available in shell sizes 8 to 24, 34 insert arrangements, alternate positioning, and various finishes. These circular connectors are ideally suited for military & commercial air, military aircraft carriers, C4ISR, and instrumentation/process control/test equipment.
The Amphenol MIL-DTL-5015 Matrix® Circular Connectors bridge the gap between connector standards of legacy applications and the environmental and high performance requirements of current technologies. The series features multiple interlock systems to ensure permanent insert retention. Amphenol's MIL-DTL-5015 Matrix® Circular Connectors are fully sealed against environmental extremes and intermateable with existing MIL-DTL-5015 solder or crimp versions.
Amphenol's MIL-DTL-83723 Series III Matrix®/Pyle® Circular Connectors provide many choices within the range of medium-sized, environmentally-resistant circular connectors. The versatility of this family makes it increasingly popular for panel mount, box mount and line-to-line applications in aircraft. For general duty, environmentally-resistant requirements, the series provides a wide range of interconnect solutions. The Amphenol MIL-DTL-83723 Series III Matrix®/Pyle® Circular Connectors feature a captive coupling nut, contacts that conform to SAE AS39029, and a rated operating voltage to 600 VAC (RMS) at sea level.
The Amphenol MIL-DTL-38999 Series I Circular Connectors are subminiature circular connectors designed to offer high reliability and high contact density while providing maximum weight and space savings. Developed to meet the needs of the Aerospace industry, the Amphenol MIL-DTL-38999 Series I Circular Connectors feature a lightweight, space saving design, 3-point bayonet lock system, 100% scoop-proof design, 5 key/keyway design, error-proof alternate positioning. EMI shielding, and fixed solder contacts. This series uses standard MIL-DTL-38999 contacts, insert arrangements and application tools. Amphenol MIL-DTL-38999 Series III Circular Connectors offer
the highest performance capabilities for the most demanding of
applications in both general duty and harsh environment applications.
Developed to operate under severe high temperature and vibration, the Amphenol MIL-DTL-38999 Series III Circular Connectors feature rapid coupling via the Tri-Start™ thread, shell-to-shell or metal-to-metal bottoming, and improved EMI shielding. Amphenol
designed these features to provide an EMI shielding capability of 65 dB
minimum at 10 GHz and corrosion resistance up to 500 hour salt spray
exposure. The Amphenol MIL-DTL-38999 Series III Circular Connectors
have a rated current range 1.5AMPS-5.0AMPS, temperature range of -65⁰C
to 175⁰C, insulation resistance of 5000 megohms min.@ 500 VDC 25C, and a
dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VRMS @ sea level. These rugged
and highly reliable circular connectors are ideally suited for
industrial, military & commercial air, military vehicles, missiles
& ordnance, C4ISR, and space applications.
