Amphenol Aerospace is the world leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of high-performance interconnect systems for Military, Commercial Air, and Industrial markets. Amphenol Aerospace designs and manufactures circular, rectangular, electronic, fiber optic, EMI/EMP filter, and a range of special applications connectors and interconnect systems. Amphenol Aerospace has been awarded both AS9100 - Revision C and ISO9001:2008 quality assurance certifications.
Amphenol Aerospace 2M Micro-Miniature Connectors are designed for interconnect applications requiring high performance. These 2M Micro-Miniature Connectors are 71% lighter, 52% smaller, and have 60% more contact density than other connectors in their class. These micro-miniature connectors are designed and tested to Mil-Spec standards and comparable to MIL-DTL-38999 connectors. 2M Series connectors are intermateable and intermountable with existing micro-miniature aerospace/defense connectors. These lightweight, high density connectors maximize SWaP (size, weight and power) in a variety of high-reliability, harsh environments. 2M is intermateable with Glenair's Mighty Mouse.
Amphenol Aerospace CTF-4G-2 Media Converter offers a
flexible, affordable, and rugged fiber copper converter system with many
options available. Amphenol Aerospace has taken two technologies and
combined them into a hybrid connector. Now you can transfer high speed
data seamlessly from copper to fiber and from fiber to copper. There is no need for internal subsystem fiber harnesses,
interconnect, or transceivers. The CTF-4G-2 Media Converter utilizes copper transceivers
and existing interconnect (backplane, harnessing, faceplate) for system
fiber connection. Media conversion at the connector reduces system
complexity and cost. The MS29504 system fiber interface supports
speeds of 1G, 2G, 4G, 10Gbps and the copper interface supports 2X high
speed channels on 6.5 Gbps capable split pair quadrax PC tails or flex
assembly. Full ruggedization for environmentals and EMI/EMP is standard
on the Fiber to Copper Converter.
Amphenol Aerospace High-Speed Solutions are connector and cable solutions for both High Speed Copper and Fiber Optic applications. Amphenol Aerospace high speed fiber optic interconnect solutions are designed for use in the harsh environments found in military and aerospace applications. Amphenol Aerospace High Speed/High Frequency Copper Interconnects provide high speed transmission and operate in high frequency conditions. Amphenol Aerospace also provides a large array of high speed cable assemblies with high speed quadrax and differential twinax contacts, as well as coax and concentric twinax contacts.
Amphenol Aerospace High Speed Quadrax contacts consist of an outer
contact with four inner contacts spaced to form two 100 or 150 Ohm
controlled impedance differential pair. Both contacts, when used in
Amphenol MIL-DTL-38999 Series III and ARINC type connectors, provide an
excellent alternative for harsh environment applications such as:
Ethernet 100 Base-T-100 Ohm, Gigabit Ethernet 1000 Base-T-100 Ohm, Fibre
Channel-150 Ohm, IEEE1394B FireWire-110 Ohm. Quadrax contacts are gold
plated, crimp termination Finish of mating contact parts: supplied with
0.000050 min. gold over nickel on mating parts. Consult Amphenol for
availability of other finishes.
Amphenol Aerospace MT Fiber Ferrules offer a high fiber density
in a relatively small cylindrical connector package with all the
advantages of the MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connector. Three levels of
alignment provide for a precise fiber to fiber interface. Two
arrangements are available, shell size 11 with one ferrule, and shell
size 21 with four ferrules.
Amphenol Aerospace Heavy Duty Class L Commercial MIL-DTL-22992 Connectors
are offered as a lower-cost, commercial version of the heavy duty power
connectors critical for rugged environmental conditions. These
connectors feature MIL-DTL-22992 Class L insert arrangements and an arc
quenching design to protect users and equipment if connectors are
inadvertently disconnected under load. A programmed coupling sequence
ensure grounding and neutral contacts engage before power contacts.
Constructed using a high strength aluminum and an unique combination of
grommets and seals, these rugged connectors provide waterproofing in any
condition - mated or unmated, capped or uncapped.
Amphenol Aerospace HD38999 Connectors offer 30% more contact density
than the highest density Mil Spec 38999 connectors of its size. Designed
using mil-specified 38999 components, mil-qualified 39029 size 23
contacts, and mil-qualified 38999 insert materials, these connectors are
essentially a drop-in replacement for the standard 38999 connector. The
design allows the user to increase the number of contacts without
increasing the size of their connector. To meet reduced system size
requirements, users can select smaller shell sizes without decreasing
the number of contacts. Amphenol Aerospace qualified their connectors to
the requirements of MIL-DTL-38999 making the HD38999 Connectors
well-suited for applications such as avionics, C4I, commercial airframe, military vehicles, space, radar for ground and air, and missile and ordinance.
Compliant with the MIL-DTL-26482 standard for harsh environments, Amphenol's MIL-DTL-26482 Series II Matrix® Circular Connectors feature an environmentally-resistant design, rear insertable/releaseable contacts to protect the front of the connector, and contacts rated to SAE AS39029. Additional features include 3-point bayonet lock system, 5 key/keyway design, and visual confirmation of complete coupling. The Amphenol MIL-DTL-26482 Series II Matrix® Circular Connectors have a recommended operating voltage of 1,000 VAC (RMS), -65⁰C to 200⁰C operating temperature range, and 500 mating cycles minimum. This series is available in shell sizes 8 to 24, 34 insert arrangements, alternate positioning, and various finishes. These circular connectors are ideally suited for military & commercial air, military aircraft carriers, C4ISR, and instrumentation/process control/test equipment.
