LiPPERT by ADLINK Cool RoadRunner-LX800 PC/104-Plus Single Board Computers are high-performance embedded PCs featuring AMD's powerful yet efficient Geode™ LX processor. The board comprises all peripherals needed for a full-fledged single board computer on a small 3.775" by 4.050" printed circuit board. The top-side connectors are fully plug-compatible with the previous series, the Cool RoadRunner II. They enable computers with a PCI Express slot to remotely manage and control up to 4 PCI devices at seven meters away, using the high-speed PCI Express interface. These expansion systems operate in 32-bit/33MHz configuration and come with complete end-to-end hardware and software transparency for the host system. Hardware devices installed in the expansion system behave and work as if they are directly installed into the host system, requiring no additional drivers or software installation. The Express-CBR leverages the Intel® Core™ i7 processor for ultra high performance and the Intel® 82574IT GbE Controller for a wide range of temperature applications. These modules offer USB 2.0, SATA, and PICMG® COM Express® COM.0 compliance. They also feature Intel® Turbo Boost and Intel® Hyper-Threading Technology.

- The ADLINK USB-1900 series provides a range of USB 2.0-based multi-functional DAQ modules. The USB-1901 and USB-1902 16-bit 250kS/s USB 2.0-based high-performance DAQ modules allow four different voltage input ranges, while the USB-1903 features additional built-in precision current-to-voltage resistors capable of direct measurement of current signal from 0 to 20mA.
- ADLINK's USB-3488A controller interface card is fully compatible with the IEEE-488.2 instrumentation control and communication standard and is capable of controlling up to 14 stand-alone instruments via IEEE-488 cables.

To support the extremes of shock, vibration, humidity, and temperature, care is given to component selection, circuit design, PCB layout and materials, thermal solutions, enclosure design, and manufacturing process. Robust test methods, including Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT), ensure optimal product design phases and meet stringent requirements such as -40°C to +85°C operating temperature range, MIL-STD, shock & vibration, and long-term reliability.
ADLINK's Rugged products achieve a middle ground between industrial and Extreme Rugged applications that experience less shock and vibration and operate within a -20°C to +70°C temperature range. PC-style connectors are used to simplify cabling because shock and vibration are minimal. Thermal solutions and other system components are designed for indoor and light outdoor environments.
