The AdaptivEnergy Random Vibration Joule-Thiefmodule converts ambient mechanical energy, such as vibration and impact events, into a standard DC voltage output. The AdaptivEnergy JTRA-e5mini Random Vibration Joule-Thief is an ideal solution for self-sustaining low power microelectronics, such as wireless sensing and active RFID. The Random Vibration JTRA-e5mini Joule-Thief module integrates highly efficient Energy Key™ electronics, providing designers with a very compact energy harvester with 2-wire interface. This AdaptivEnergy device includes RLP® Smart Energy Beam™ configured for energy collection from low amplitude random vibration environments and also features onboard 66µF capacitive storage.
