Actel ProASIC3L FPGAs
Actel’s ProASIC3L Flash FPGA family combines dramatically reduced power consumption with up to 350MHz operation, providing flexible, feature-rich, low-cost solutions. The ProASIC3L family features 40% lower dynamic power, 90% lower static power, and can operate from a single voltage of 1.2V or 1.5V core supply. The devices incorporate Flash*Freeze technology for fast switching from active to static state with no additional components required. Ideal for high-performance markets including industrial, medical, and scientific.
Actel IGLOO™ Starter Kit
Actel’s IGLOO™ Starter Kit contains a development board with an AGL600-PGG256 device, Actel Libero® IDE Gold Edition design and development software, FlashPro3 programmer built into the board, user guide with PCB schematics, and a sample design. Detailed current-monitoring capabilities of the starter kit allow users to directly measure low current consumption and validate performance when using IGLOO devices. The on-board programmer enables easy experimentation with ISP, device serialization, and the FlashLock on-chip security system.

Actel’s IGLOO™ family of reprogrammable, full-featured Flash FPGAs is designed to meet the demanding power and area requirements of portable applications. Based on the Actel nonvolatile Flash technology and single-chip ProASIC3 FPGA architecture, the 1.2V/1.5V operating voltage family offers the industry’s lowest power consumption – as low as 5µW. The IGLOO™ devices support up to 3 million system gates with up to 504kbits of true dual-port SRAM, up to six embedded PLLs, and up to 620 user I/Os.
