The Tyco Electronics / AMP Star Board LED Pixel Holder is designed to combine thermal and electrical connections to the hexagonal "Star" LED board offered by many manufacturers. Consisting of a heat sink, locking ring, and contact carrier, the LED Pixel Holder design allows for versatility in mounting monochromatic and RGB "Star" LEDs without the need for solder (RGB uses 4 wire common anode). The Tyco Electronics / AMP Star Board 3 watt LED Pixel Holder is plug and play capable to easily integrate into LED light fixtures in office, residential, or architectural lighting.
