Pomona Electronics product line includes test leads and probes, telecommunications cables, adapters, and IC test clips. Pomona Electronics is a leading supplier of premium grade connectors and components for all broadcast segments, including High-Def, digital video, audio, and home entertainment. Pomona customers benefit from this comprehensive line through excellent design, fit, and performance. Pomona Electronics is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fluke Corporation.
Pomona offers Terminal Jacks and Jumper Test Leads for nuclear power. The two-part jumpers and color-coded connectors help reduce human error and help maintain the highest level of safety for humans and property, as well as reduce the likelihood of an expensive reactor shut-down. Pomona's Terminal Jacks and Jumper Test Leads are helping nuclear power plants streamline testing procedures and improve human performance by providing a higher-level of quality, reliability, and utility than ever before. By integrating a common set of connectors and a consistent color scheme (and eliminating painted terminal jacks with paper labels) into procedures and peer check processes, plant technicians reduce the risk of placing jumpers on the wrong terminals.
The Pomona 634x Series Precision Electronic Probes feature miniature probes for tiny, high-density circuits and extremely fine-pitch IC leads found in TSSOP and SSOP packages. These probes feature flexible silicone insulated wire to resist burning and comply with all the latest safety standards. Probe sets consist of one black probe, one red probe, and a variety of stainless steel and gold plated tips. These replaceable probe tips feature .040" body diameter and tip diameter from .040" down to .018." Gold tips use steel standard Automated Test Equipment Equipment (ATE) probes, or pogo pins.
The Pomona Electronics´ Cable Assembly with BNC Male on Each End features a molded strain relief that is directly bonded to the cable jacket for superior strength and durability. Teflon insulation and nickel tarnish-resistant outer shells used in the BNC connector provide long life and reliability. The Pomona Electronics´ Cable Assembly with BNC Male on Each End
is available in 50Ω, 75Ω, and 93Ω versions, as well as in a variety of
lengths. The gold-plated center contacts assure the most noise-free connection possible. The connectors and cable are impedance matched. Applications include: 2249-C - most test and measurement applications, RF transmission systems and Thinnet LAN applications; 2249-E - broadcast, video, and other signal applications; 2249-K - low power situations where small size and flexibility is important; and 2249-Y - for superior interference rejection.
Pomona Electronics offers the vertically stackable Double Banana Plug series MDP with cable guides to simplify the attachment of cables or components with set screws. With a body of nickel plated brass, the Banana Plug spring is beryllium copper for long insertion life. Pomona's MDP series is available in nine colors.
Pomona Electronics CK73041 Calibration Kit is a comprehensive, 51-piece kit that includes versatile adapters and flexible cables that combine to greatly expand the variety of test cables you can create, reducing the number of special-purpose patch cords and connectors needed for calibration applications. The Calibration Kit allows you to make low voltage, precision measurements, easily connect with BNC to banana and BNC to binding post adapters, use shielded coax cables and shielded dual conductor patch cords, and much more.
