Luminus XNova COB LEDs

Luminus XNova™ Chip-on-Board (COB) LED series offers a complete lighting class solution designed for high performance illumination applications. The selection covers a wide lumen range from less than 400lm to over 10,000lm, all major color temperatures and can deliver color rendering greater than 97 at 2700K and 3000K and R9 equal to 95. Delivered with fully qualified LM80 test data and TM21 lifetime results that certify lumen maintenance at 35,000 hours or more, XNova COB LEDs are ready for the toughest challenges. Luminus Devices CBT-140 Big Chip Round LED Modules

Luminus Devices CBT-140 Big Chip Round LED Modules are the perfect solution for applications defined by a circular aperture. Such optical architectures, previously mismatched with a traditional square LED, can now be updated with round LEDs which better match the application. These Big Chip Round LED Modules increase system-level efficiency by as much as 30%, enabling customers to use a single LED to replace a 250W HID lamp. They will accelerate the adoption of solid-state technology by displacing conventional light sources in high brightness lighting applications. Markets and applications that will benefit from Luminus' round LED technology include medical, machine vision, portable, and retail spot lighting. Luminus' photonic lattice technology enables large area LED chips with uniform brightness over the entire LED chip surface. With a thermal resistance from junction to case of 0.59ºC/W, these LEDs have the lowest thermal resistance of any LED on the market.

Luminus Devices CBT-90 UV Big Chip LEDs™

Luminus Devices CBT-90 UV Big Chip LEDs™ provide ultraviolet light in the 400-410nm wavelength, in a CBT-90 Big Chip LED™ package. These high power UV LEDs feature a suite of Luminus technologies, providing solutions both high in power and efficiency. Luminus' photonic lattice technology enables large area LED chips to emit photons uniformly over the entire LED chip surface. The intense optical power density produced by these UV Big Chip LEDs™ facilitate designs which replace arc and halogen lamps where arrays of traditional high power LEDs cannot. For UV devices, Luminus engineers the photonic lattice to maximize light extraction and to emit with a Lambertian far-field distribution pattern. The design maximizes efficiency and allows for flexible optical designs. With a thermal resistance from junction to heat sink of 0.9ºC/W, Luminus CBT-90-UV LEDs have the lowest thermal resistance of any LED on the market. This allows the LED to be driven at higher current densities while maintaining a low junction temperature, thereby resulting in brighter solutions and longer lifetimes.

Luminus Devices Big Chip LEDs™ are ideal for demanding applications that require maximum lumen density, efficiency, and reliability. The Big Chip LEDs™ Family includes white, color, multi-chip color mix, and ultraviolet LEDs. Luminus Big Chip White LEDs provide lighting designers with an ultra-bright point source of white light, which enables new applications with better optical system efficiency, breaking through the design limitations of tiled arrays and reducing system complexity and cost. Luminus Color LEDs set the standard in power and brightness, opening new markets for LEDs such as projection display, high power entertainment fixtures, and medical and analytical instrumentation. Luminus Devices sCBT-120-UV Slim UV LED

Luminus Devices sCBT-120-UV Slim UV LEDs are designed specifically for printing and other line curing applications. They provide maximum UV energy, superior performance, and long-term reliability while also improving workplace safety by eliminating harmful substances such as ozone and mercury that are byproducts of UV mercury lamp use. The UV Slim was designed as an LED light source for a specific application, rather than forcing the application to adapt to the light source. Designed with graphic arts printing in mind, the UV Slim combines all of the traditional advantages of Luminus' Big Chip LED ™ technology, including improved thermal power density, simple optics, and greater efficiency. This new packaging form factor makes it possible to create a tight linear array that packs at three times the density of a regular CBT-102-UV chip, and also allows the UV Slim LED to be placed further from the substrate needing curing. The new LED package has been designed to deliver more efficiency than traditional curing methods, which ultimately lowers production costs and offers the longer life and higher brightness that is typical of LED performance.

Luminus Devices SBM-160 RGBW Color Mix Big Chip LEDs™ & Evaluation Module

Luminus Devices SBM-160 RGBW Color Mix Big Chip LEDs™ can generate 1,000+ color balanced white lumens, and each consist of an array of individually addressable red, green, blue, and white emitters in a surface mount package. Each 4mm² chip emits directly to air, which enables the use of proximity optics for color mixing and the elimination of color fringing. These SBM-160 LEDs feature Luminus' photonic lattice technology, very low thermal resistance, and median lifetimes that typically exceed 60,000 hours. Also available is the SBR-160, an evaluation module consisting of an SBM-160 RGBW surface mount LED mounted on a development board.

Luminus Devices CBT-90 Big Chip White LEDs™

Luminus Devices Color Series Big Chip LEDs™

Luminus Devices Color Series Big Chip LEDs™ combine advanced chip level design and innovative packaging concepts to provide industry leading single package light output levels. With its patented Big Chip LEDs™ PhlatLight® (Photonic Lattice) technology, Color Series products deliver lumen densities not previously realized from a single LED package.
