Lattice MachXO3™ FPGAs

Lattice MachXO3™ FPGA family is the smallest, lowest-cost-per I/O programmable platform aimed at expanding system capabilities and bridging emerging connectivity interfaces using both parallel and serial I/O. MachX03 simplifies the implementation of emerging connectivity interfaces -- MIPI, PCIe, and GbE, for example -- by matching advanced, small-footprint packaging with on-chip resources. These ultra-low density Lattice FPGAs provide a single programmable bridge that allows for building differentiated systems using the latest components and interface standards. With advanced package technology solutions that eliminate bond wires to enable lowest-cost and increased I/O density in a small footprint, the MachXO3 family can be used across market segments, including consumer, communications, storage, industrial, and automotive.

Lattice Power Manager II ispPAC®-POWR6AT6

Lattice's Power Manager II ispPAC®-POWR6AT6 is a general-purpose power-supply monitoring and margining controller that incorporates in-system programmable analog functions implemented in non-volatile E2CMOS technology. The ispPAC®-POWR6AT6 device provides six independent analog input channels to monitor up to six power supply test points, and each of these input channels offers a differential input to support remote ground sensing. In addition, ispPAC®-POWR6AT6 devices incorporate six DACs for generating a trimming voltage to control the output voltage of a power supply. The ispPAC®-POWR6AT6 has a wide supply range of 2.8V to 3.96V.

Lattice Power Manager II ispPAC®-POWR1014/A

Lattice's Power Manager II ispPAC®-POWR1014/A is a general-purpose power supply monitor and sequence controller that incorporates both in-system programmable logic and in-system programmable analog functions implemented in a non-volatile E2CMOS® technology. The ispPAC-POWR1014/A device provides 10 independent analog input channels to monitor up to 10 power supply test points. In addition, the ispPAC®-POWR1014/A provides 14 open-drain digital outputs that can be used for controlling DC-DC converters, low-drop-out regulators (LDOs) and optocouplers, as well as for supervisory and general-purpose logic interface functions. This device also incorporates a 24-macrocell CPLD that can be used to implement complex state machine sequencing for the control of multiple power supplies as well as combinatorial logic functions.

Lattice iCEstick FPGA Evaluation Kit

Lattice iCEstick allows rapid prototyping of the iCE40 FPGA family with an easy to use USB thumb drive form factor. Lattice iCEstick interfaces directly with a PC to allow direct device programming, and includes a 2x6 position Digilent Pmod™ connector for peripheral connections as well as 16 3.3V digital I/O connections, and an IrDA transceiver. Programming the iCEstick is accomplished with Lattice iCEcube2™ design software for HDL develpment. Programming the onboard SPI flash is done with the Lattice Diamond Programmer.

Lattice MachXO2 Programmable Logic Device (PLD) XO2-4000 Expansion

Lattice has expanded its offering of MachXO2 PLDs with the MachXO2-4000 series of PLDs.  Lattice XO2-4000 PLDs feature 4320 Look-Up Tables (LUTs) and up to 278 I/Os. the XO2-4000 PLDs come with 32Kbits of Dsitributed RAM, 92Kbits of EBR SRAM, 96 Kbits of UFM, and 2 PLLs.

Lattice Semiconductor's MachXO2 family consist of six ultra low power, instant-on, non-volatile PLDs that offer densities ranging from 256 to 6864 Look-Up Tables (LUTs). In addition, the MachXO2 family of PLDs from Lattice Semiconductor offer several features such as Embedded Block RAM (EBR), Distributed RAM, and User Flash Memory (UFM), which allow these devices to be used in low cost, high volume consumer and system applications. The MachXO2 devices are designed on a 65nm non-volatile low power process and are available in two versions - ultra low power (ZE) and high performance (HC and HE). MachXO2s are also available in a broad range of advanced halogen-free packages and offer enhanced I/O features such as drive strength control, slew rate control, PCI compatibility, bus-keeper latches, and pull-up resistors. The MachXO2 also provides flexible, reliable and secure configuration from on-chip Flash memory.

Lattice MachXO2 Breakout Board

Lattice Semiconductor LCMXO2-7000HE-B-EVN MachXO2 Breakout Board is a simple, low-cost board featuring the MachXO2-7000HE PLD. The 700HE PLD provides more than 5 times the logic capacity in a higher-performance FPGA using the same package/footprint as the previous MachXO2 device, the MachXO2-1200ZE. Lattice MachXO2 Breakout Board provides convenient access to densely-spaced I/Os. Each I/O on the device is connected to 100-mil header holes. By adding test probes, jumper wires, or pin headers to the board, you can easily evaluate function and performance through the SysIO buffers of the MachXO2. This board is a 3x3 inch form factor and features a USB mini-B connector for power and programming, an LED array, and prototype area. A USB cable is included with the kit, and demos are available for download. By using free Lattice design tools users can reprogram the MachXO2 to review their custom designs.

Lattice iCE40LP1K-BLINK-EVN Evaluation Kit

Lattice's iCE40LP1K-BLINK-EVN Evaluation Kit is a low-cost platform for evaluating and developing with the low-power iCE40LP1K mobileFPGA™. The board provides access to general-purpose I/O and includes capacitive-touch buttons and LEDs. The board is powered and programmed via USB. An on-board microcontroller enables 2-way communication with the iCE40HX1K mobileFPGA. The free iCEcube2™ development tool controls programming, accesses virtual I/O functions, and runs the included demos.

Lattice iCE40 MobileFPGA Family is a tablet-targeted series optimized for high performance. The Lattice iCE40 MobileFPGA Family from Lattice Semiconductor is 80% faster than the iCE65 Series and utilizes proven, high-volume 40nm, low-power CMOS technology. Lattice Semiconductor has expanded the MachXO PLD Family to now include the LCMXO256 that offers a density of 256 LUTs, LCMXO640 with a density of 640 LUTs, and LCMXO1200 which offers a density of 1200 LUTs.

Lattice provides customers with low-cost and low-power programmable solutions that are ready-to-use right out of the box. The LatticeECP3 and LatticeECP2M devices with the SERDES/PCS blocks in a mid-range FPGA fabric provides one of the industry's lowest-cost and lowest-power programmable PCI Express bridging solution. The LatticeSC/M devices with the SERDES/PCS blocks and the embedded MACO technology provide an ideal platform for developing bridging solutions.

SONET/SDH (Synchronous optical networking/ Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) are standardized multiplexing protocols that transfer multiple digital bit streams over optical fiber using lasers or light-emitting diodes (LEDs). Lower rates can also be transferred via an electrical interface. Due to SONET's protocol neutrality and transport-oriented features, SONET was the obvious choice for transporting Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) frames. The LatticeECP3 and LatticeSC devices are ideal for backplane and chip-to-chip applications, SONET framers and bridging solutions.
