International Rectifier's IRS2983S LEDrivIR™ is a fully integrated, fully protected SMPS control IC designed to drive Flyback converter LED drivers. The IRS2983S features include primary side power regulation, which allows a basic converter to be implemented without the need for an opto isolator in a Flyback LED driver with a fixed load enabling a low cost, high reliability isolated LED driver design to be realized. The IRS2983S may also be used in converters that do include secondary feedback through an opto isolator. Other features of the IRS2983S include a high voltage startup enabling VCC supply to be derived initially from the high voltage DC bus until the auxiliary inductor winding is able to take over. The IRS2983S operates in critical conduction (CrCM) or discontinuous (DCM) modes and is fully protected against open and short circuit as well as inductor saturation. The IRS2983S may be used in single stage Flyback LED drivers with an unsmoothed DC bus to obtain high power factor and low THD.
International Rectifier IRS44273L MOSFET gate drivers are simple solution IGBT and MOSFET gate drives, offering 1.5A (typical) sink and source capability, fast switching performance and integrated under-voltage lockout protection with minimal board space requirements. These ICs offer the highest available drive current for a low-side driver in an SOT-23-5L package enabling designers to use in place of larger SO-8 devices to significantly reduce solution size. With two output pins on either side of their packages, IRS44273L driver ICs simplify system design by offering layout flexibility. International Rectifier's IRS2505L Boost PFC Control IC is the world's first offline AC-DC PFC Boost IC that operates in critical-conduction mode. The device features a novel control system that can implement a PFC controller with only five pins, significantly reducing overall system size, component count and system cost. The IC incorporates a free-running frequency oscillator with on- and off-time control of the boost power MOSFET without the need for a secondary winding. Also included in the design is over-voltage protection of the DC bus and cycle-by-cycle over-current protection of the power MOSFET. Micro-power start-up current and an internal 20.8V zener clamp at VCC are provided to simplify the external VCC supply circuitry. ESD and latch immune CMOS technology enables a rugged monolithic IC construction.
International Rectifier IRSM836 Integrated Power Module is designed for advanced appliance motor drive applications such as energy efficient fans and pumps. International Rectifier's IRFx4137/4868 300V Power MOSFETs feature IR’s latest power MOSFET silicon that deliver benchmark on-state resistance (RDS(on)) for a wide range of high efficiency industrial applications such 110-120 VAC line conditioners and 110-120 VAC power supplies, and DC to AC inverters including solar inverters and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS). International Rectifier's IR1169 Advanced SmartRectifier™ Control IC is a high speed synchronous rectifier (SR) controller for flyback, forward and half-bridge converters used in AC-DC adapter, PC, server and Telecom SMPS applications. The IR1169 features a SYNC function that turns off the SR MOSFET to prevent reverse current flow under continuous conduction mode (CCM) operation, thereby improving functionality and reliability. Unlike existing solutions, the advanced new device uses direct sensing with capacitor coupling to help simplify design and reduce overall system cost.
International Rectifier IRAUDAMP7 Audio Amplifiers reference

With a power range from 25W to 500W, the IRAUDAMP7 offers a high degree
of scalability on a single layer PCB.
The IRAUDAMP7S two-channel, 120W half-bridge design provides 91 percent
efficiency at 120W in Class D stage, 8Ω, and a THD+N of 0.005% at 1 kHz,
60W, 8Ω, (both typical). The IRAUDAMP7D features IR’s IRS2092 protected
digital audio driver IC in a DIP16 package together with through-hole
components while the IRAUDAMP7S features the IRS2092S in an SOIC package
with surface-mount components.
The IRAUDAMP7 series incorporates critical protection features including
over-current protection, over-voltage protection, under-voltage
protection, DC-protection, and over-temperature protection. Housekeeping
functions include a ±5V supply for analog signal processing for the
preamplifier and a +12V supply (Vcc) referenced to -B for the Class D
gate driver stage.
International Rectifier PowIRaudio™ Compact Integrated Power Modules are designed for high performance home theater systems and car audio amplifiers. They each integrate a PWM controller and two digital audio power MOSFETs in a single package, forming a high performance Class D audio amplifier. International Rectifier IR256xx Robust General Purpose 600V High-Voltage ICs (HVICs) include dual low-side drivers, half-bridge drivers, and high- and low-side drivers that can be incorporated into a variety of consumer applications, including automotive after-market, lighting, and consumer-level appliances as well as motor control systems. IR256xx HVICs are designed using International Rectifier's highly robust Gen 2 process for high reliability and ruggedness. International Rectifier's AUIRGDC0250 1200V Soft Switching IGBT is an automotive-qualified IGBT optimized for soft switching applications such as Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) heater applications as used in electric and hybrid vehicles. It features low VCE(on) to reduce power dissipation and achieve higher power density, positive VCE(on) temperature coefficient making the device well suited for paralleling, and optimized square reverse bias safe operating area (RBSOA) while the soft switching nature of the AUIRGDC0250 makes it ideal for helping adhere to system level EMI regulations.
International Rectifier's AUIRS20302S Automotive Qualified Three-Phase Gate Driver IC is designed for 12V, 24V and 48V vehicle applications including high-voltage air conditioner compressors, pumps, BLDC motor drives up to 600W and high-voltage motor drives. The AUIRS20302S targets 12V, 24V and 48V boardnet automotive platforms operating at voltages up to 200V maximum. The new device features an external pre-regulator to generate its own supply voltage to ensure that the gate drives do not exceed 17V even during load dump conditions.
