Intel Wireless Display, or Wi-Di, enables a Wi-Fi network to connect a PC to a high-def television or home theater system. With this proprietary technology, Wi-Di allows steaming of videos, photos, games, personal content, or any other internet content over the Wi-Fi network (with any compatible 2010 Core laptop from Intel) direct to an HDTV. Many existing adapters, HDTVs, and computers have Wi-Di technology built in.
Intel Wireless Display technology is included with select Intel Core™ Processors to improve the user experience with computer applications and content on a big screen in full 1080p HD, and support USB devices, DVD movie playback, touch and voice control, and 5.1 Surround Sound.
Wi-Di is easy to install. Simply connect an Intel Wi-Di compatible adapter to a TV or use a growing number of TVs or other devices that come with Intel Wi-Di built in. Then launch the Intel Wi-Di application from the PC, press the connect button, and enjoy.
