The T2 series MTCW offers an expanded array of sensor data options that allow the system to interpret various finger gestures for machine command and image manipulation. The T2 Series Multi-Touch Control Wheel (MTCW) from Grayhill offers the functionality of four devices in one 4.5" component that combines a multi-touch touchpad; virtual four to 256 position rotary encoder; virtual four position joystick with touching points at North, South, East, and West; and proximity sensor. The Instinct Software Development Kit (T101-DEV1) provides a platform for prototyping and evaluating different solutions. Grayhill 60A Series NavCoder is a three-in-one human interface device (HID) that combines a joystick, an optical encoder and a pushbutton on a single shaft to provide directional and rotational control. The 60A Series NavCoder from Grayhill improves operator safety by integrating three interface technologies that allow the user to navigate, scroll and select options with very little hand movement. The joystick manipulates a cursor in four or eight directions, the optical encoder facilitates sequential scrolling through menu options, and the pushbutton performs on-screen menu selects, all without the user having to change controls. The 60A series NavCoder has longer life than its mechanical counterparts, with 1 million rotational cycles of operation.
Grayhill 62AG Series Optical Encoder is now available with more resolution options to allow the user to fine tune settings. The 62AG Optical Encoder from Grayhill now offers 16, 20, 24, and 32 position resolutions and an optional integrated push-button that allows scrolling items from a list or menu and selecting the desired function. The 62AG generates a two-bit digital output to measure the magnitude and direction of the shaft or knob rotation. The 62AG Optical Encoder has a standard operating voltage of 5.0Vdc, but is also available with 3.3Vdc voltage. The additional resolution options, high performance, and low price make the 62AG encoder an ideal user interface solution for more applications.
Grayhill Series 77 Single Deck Rotary Switch is small in size with a diameter of 0.5", 200mA and 0.18" behind the panel, minimizing the amount of space required. The Series 77 Single Deck Rotary Switch from Grayhill is available with continuous rotation or a fixed stop and offers high stop strength. This component is constructed with one or two poles and has an operating temperature range from -40ºC to +85ºC.
