Freescale's MM9Z1_638 Intelligent Battery Sensor is a fully integrated intelligent battery monitoring system with CAN and LIN that supports precise current measurement via an external shunt resistor. It features four voltage measurements via internal calibrated resistor dividers or external dividers. It includes an internal temperature sensor, allowing close proximity battery temperature measurements, plus four external temperature sensor inputs. These sensors feature the LIN 2.2 protocol and physical interface, as well as an msCAN protocol controller, for interfacing to automotive buses. The MM9Z1_638 is able to supply and control external CAN interfaces.
Freescale's PF0200 Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs) provides a highly programmable / configurable architecture, with fully integrated power devices and minimal external components. With up to four buck converters, one boost regulator, six linear regulators, RTC supply, and coin-cell charger, the PF0200 can provide power for a complete system, including applications processors, memory, and system peripherals, in a wide range of applications. With on-chip One Time Programmable (OTP) memory, the PF0200 is available in pre-programmed standard versions, or non-programmed to support custom programming. The PF0200 is especially suited to the i.MX6 SoloLite, i.MX6 Solo and i.MX6 DualLite versions of the i.MX6 family of devices and is supported by full system level reference designs, and pre-programmed versions of the device. Freescale's MWCT1xxx Single-Coil Wireless Charging Transmitter ICs provide the complete controller functionality in implementing a wireless charging transmitter solution. Freescale MC33816 is a 12 channel gate driver IC for automotive engine control applications. The IC consist of five external MOSFET high side pre-drivers and seven external MOSFET low side pre-drivers. The MC33816 provides a flexible solution for MOSFET’s gate drive with a versatile control and optimized latency time. Gate drive, diagnosis, and protection are managed through four independent microcores, and two Code RAM and two Data RAM banks. The IC contains two internal voltage regulators with over-voltage and under-voltage monitoring and protection. There are four current sense modules and VDS monitoring for fault detection and annunciation via a serial peripheral interface (SPI). The device includes both individual charge pump outputs for each high side pre-drivers and a high-voltage DC-DC converter low side pre-driver. These features along with cost effective packaging, make the MC33816 ideal for powertrain engine control applications.

Freescale's Power Switches offer motor driver/controller ICs that use SMARTMOS technology for industrial applications. The MC34931 (single) and MC34932 (dual) DC motor drivers are monolithic thermally efficient 28V/5A H-Bridge DC motor drivers featuring real-time load current monitoring and automatic thermal back-off ensuring high availability operation in demanding high-current, high-temperature industrial applications. It is designed primarily for DC brushed and servo motor driver applications. The MC34933 is a 1.4A dual H-Bridge driver aimed at the digital camera market. The MC34937A is a field effect transistor (FET) pre-driver designed for three-phase motor control and similar applications. The IC contains three high side FET pre-drivers and three low side FET pre-drivers. Three external bootstrap capacitors provide gate charge to the high side FETs.

The MC36XSD are designed for 36V systems and offers devices with current capability ranging from one to 12A DC that are fully compatible in footprint and software within the PQFN sub family. The MC12XSC are eXtreme switch devices that are SPI-controlled smart high side switches for Industrial applications, providing diagnostics, as well as comprehensive fault management and control of the loads without complex software. The MC12XSF is an eXtreme switch product that is the latest achievement in DC motors and industrial lighting drivers. Freescale's MC34903/4/5 System Basis Chip is the second generation family of the System Basis Chip (SBC). It combines several features and enhances present module designs. The device works as an advanced power management unit for the MCU with additional integrated circuits such as sensors and CAN transceivers. It has a built-in enhanced high-speed CAN interface (ISO11898-2 and -5) with local and bus failure diagnostics, protection, and fail-safe operation modes. The SBC may include zero or one LIN 2.1 interface with LIN output pin switches. It includes up to four wake-up input pins that can also be configured as output drivers for flexibility. This device implements multiple low-power (LP) modes, with very low-current consumption.
Freescale’s FXLC95000 Xtrinsic Motion-Sensing Platform integrates a MEMS accelerometer and a 32-bit ColdFire MCU, providing autonomous sensing simultaneously with local compute capability to manage other sensors and offer maximum differentiated flexibility. The FXLC95000 is first to market with the sensing hub embedded that is also programmable for customer-specific applications and algorithms. Up to 16 sensor inputs are easily managed by the FXLC95000 sensing hub allowing calibration, compensation and sensor functions to be offloaded from the application processor.
Freescale Kinetis KL16 / KL26 ARM® Cortex™-M0+ microcontrollers (MCUs) combine the energy-efficiency and ease-of-use of 8-/16-bit MCUs with the performance and scalability of 32-bit Kinetis MCUs. KL16 and KL26 MCUs feature up to 256KB Flash, 16-32KB SRAM, a 16-bit analog-to-digital converter and a 12-bit digital-to-analog converter. Unit. The TWR-K21F120M is a Tower MCU Module featuring the
MK21FN1M0VMC12 a Kinetis microcontroller in a 121 MAPBGA package with
USB 2.0 full-speed on-the-go (OTG) controllers and system security and
tamper detection with a secure real-time clock with independent battery
supply. It is intended for use in the Freescale Tower System but can

Freescale's FXOS8700 6-Axis Xtrinsic Sensor with Integrated Linear Accelerometer and Magnetometer is a small, low-power 6-axis linear accelerometer and magnetometer combined into a single package. The device features a selectable digital I2C or SPI serial interface with 14-bit accelerometer and 16-bit magnetometer resolution along with smart-embedded functions. FXOS8700 has dynamically selectable acceleration full scales of ±2g/±4g/±8g and a fixed magnetic measurement range of ±1200μT. Output Data Rates (ODR) from 1.563Hz to 800Hz are selectable by the user for each sensor. Interleaved magnetic and acceleration data is available at ODR rates of up to 400Hz.
