EPCOS P13 Series Inrush Current Limiting NTC Thermistors

EPOCS' P13 Series offers Inrush Current Limiting NTC Thermistors. The P13 Series features a 13mm diameter thermistor disk with a UL 94 V-0 flame-retardant coating, kinked leads of tinned copper wire, and 7.5mm lead spacing. This series provides high electrical stability with a resistance range from 3 to 25Ω (R25) and resistance tolerance of ±20%. Designed for high power currents from 2.5 to 7A in the temperature range between -40°C and 150°C, the EPCOS P13 Series Inrush Current Limiting NTC Thermistors are well-suited for peripheral communication equipment such as switch-mode power supplies and motors.

EPCOS P11 Series Inrush Current Limiting NTC Thermistors

EPOCS' P11 Series offers Inrush Current Limiting NTC Thermistors. The P11 Series features a 13mm diameter thermistor disk with a UL 94 V-0 flame-retardant coating, kinked leads of tinned copper wire, and 7.5mm lead spacing. This series provides high electrical stability with a resistance range from 4 to 25Ω (R25) and resistance tolerance of ±20%. Designed for currents from 2.5 to 5A in the temperature range between 0°C and 25°C, the EPCOS P11 Series Inrush Current Limiting NTC Thermistors are well-suited for peripheral communication equipment such as switch-mode power supplies and motors.

Epcos ASB / ASR Pressure Sensors

Epcos offers Pressure Sensors in two series, the ASB barometric pressure transmitter and the ASR gauge pressure transmitter. Epcos ASB / ASR Pressure Sensor transmitters are based on piezoresistive silicon pressure dies, have an on board compensation circuit for non-linearity and temperature error, and have a miniaturized SMD hybrid package. Both the ASB barometric pressure transmitter and the ASR gauge pressure transmitter feature analog ratiometric interface with adjustable output limits (clipping) or digital 14 bit I²C interface, diagnosis functions like loss of Vdd/Vss, bridge connections and short cuts, high immunity against electromagnetic influences, and plastic free surface mount technology for reflow soldering.

EPCOS PTC SMD Thermistor for LED Lighting Thermal Management

EPCOS developed the B59602 and B59603 series as PTC SMD Thermistors for thermal management in LED driver circuits. Constructed as ceramic PTC SMD thermistors, the B59602 and B59603 series feature a fast and reliable response and well defined R/T curves with a maximum operating voltage of 32V DC, operating temperature range -40°C to +125°C, response temperature range of 55⁰C to 105⁰C, resistance at 25⁰C (R25) range of 110Ω- 470Ω, and resistance tolerance of 15%. Compliant to RoHS directive 2002/95/EC, complete with lead-free tinned terminations, and suitable for reflow soldering, the EPCOS PTC SMD Thermistors for thermal management in LED driver circuits are also suited for applications such as DC/DC converters, home appliances, dimmers, electronic ballasts, over-temperature protection of power components, secondary protection of battery packs, SMPS, and notebooks.

EPCOS Automotive Varistors and Thermistors-Various Series

EPCOS offers various series of Varistors and Thermistors. These varistors and thermistors from EPCOS provide voltage and noise suppression and temperature measurement and compensation in automotive applications.
- The Multilayer Varistors (MLVs) from EPCOS offer high energy absorption capability, low leakage current, high-temperature versions, stable protection level, bidirectional clamping, and ESD protection up to 25kV. MLVs provide transient overvoltage protection in automobile systems.
- The SMD Disk Varistors (CU Varistors) from EPCOS feature 12V and 24V supply systems, high energy absorption capability, SMD plastic package, no temperature derating up to 85ºC, RoHS compatibility, suitability for lead-free soldering, UL approval, and PSpice simulation modeling for different pulses.

EPCOS Superior Series SMD PTC Thermistors

EPCOS Superior series SMD PTC thermistors for limit temperature measurement are available in case sizes 0805, 0603, and 0402. Compared to the standard series, EPCOS Superior thermistors employ a more homogeneous ceramic material that enables them to exhibit excellent performance in reliability tests and be reflow and wave-soldered at temperatures of up to 280 ºC. These EPCOS SMD PTC thermistors are qualified based on AEC-Q200 Rev-C and satisfy the rigorous requirements for use in automotive applications involving frequent and rapid temperature changes. The B59721A in case size 0805 has response temperatures from 70 to 130 °C in steps of 10K. Their rated resistance is 680Ω. The response temperatures of the B59641A (0603) and B59421A (0402) are from 75 to 145 ºC and 75 to 135 ºC respectively, also in steps of 10K. The rated resistance of these components is 470Ω.

EPCOS DC Link Film Capacitors

Epcos offers High Power Series MKP (metallized polypropylene film) DC Link Film Capacitors that are suitable for high ripple current modules in frequency converters, industrial and high-end power supplies, and solar inverters. All EPCOS DC Link Film Capacitors are marked with manufacturer's logo, rated capacitance, tolerance, rated DC voltage, and type number. 2-pin versions available in lead spacing 27.5mm and 4-pin version available in 37.5mm and 42.5 lead spacing.

EPCOS Feida Motor Run Capacitors

The EPCOS Feida Motor Run Capacitors are constructed of polypropylene film (dielectric), metallized film (electrode), with an aluminum can and metal top. Filled with PCB-free vegetable oil, the insulator material meets IEC 60335-1. The EPCOS Feida Motor Run Capacitors feature self-healing properties, a low dissipation factor, an overpressure disconnection device, and high insulation resistance. The Motor Run Capacitors meet the highest safety level P2 to IEC 60252-1 2001-02 and is IEC/EN 60335 compatible. For general sine wave applications, mainly as motor run capacitors.
