Amphenol Commercial´s Universal Serial Bus (USB) 3.0 SuperSpeed 5Gbps Connectors feature the newest technology over Hi-Speed USB. This major improvement in USB technology provides additional connectivity bandwidth for increasingly sophisticated peripherals that require more power, yet USB 3.0 remains backward compatible with USB 2.0. The USB 3.0 connector retains the same rectangular shape and will improve performance of devices that are currently taxed using 2.0, such as external hard drives, high res webcams, video surveillance, and Blue-Ray drives. In addition to higher data rates, the Amphenol Commercial USB 3.0 SuperSpeed 5Gbps Connectors offer improved interaction between devices and the host computer by providing more power when needed and less power when not needed.
