AVX Corporation offers Professional Tantalum Chip Capacitors, TRJ Series, with twice improved reliability and are robust against higher thermo-mechanical stresses during the assembly process. The DCL is reduced by 25% to 0.0075 CV for a CV range of 0.1-470µF / 6.3-50V. AVX Corporation TRJ series of Professional Tantalum Chip Capacitors are ideal for automotive, medical, aerospace, military, and other high-end applications.

AVX TLC Series tantalum solid electrolytic chip capacitors offer a high capacitance vs. voltage ratio and super high volumetric efficiency. The TLC series tantalum electrolytic capacitors from AVX, designed for consumer applications, are available in 10 case sizes with capacitance range from 0.33µF to 470µF and operating temperature range from -55ºC to +125ºC.
AVX AG Series Automotive Varistors
AVX AG Series Automotive Varistors offer ultra-low capacitance ESD protection in the Sub 1pF range for use in automotive circuits that are sensitive to capacitance. AG Series Automotive Varistors are available in 0.8pF capacitance value in a compact 0402 low profile package, and provide excellent response time to ESD strikes to protect sensitive circuits from over voltage. Ideal applications for AVX AG Series Automotive Varistors include antennas, optics, GPS, cameras, sensors, and touch screen interfaces.
AVX Schottky Rectifier Diodes
AVX Schottky Rectifier Diodes offer unique lead-less chip packaging technology which eliminates the lead frame wire bond to give the chip top-bottom symmetry for fewer mounting problems, better heat transfer, and current handling capability (compared to SOD devices). Features include innovative packaging technology, high current capability, low VF, low power loss, high efficiency, low profile, and UL 94V-0 class package material. Typical applications include switch mode power supplier (SMPS), high frequency rectification, battery powered devices, reverse bias protection, and switching converters in portable devices (smart phone, audio/visual, game, industrial, solar).
AVX Resistive Products Design Kits
AVX Resistive Products Design Kits contain a selection of High Power Chip Resistors and Terminations in various sizes with standard values of 50Ohm and 100Ohm, tolerances of ±2% and ±5%, and operating frequencies from DC to 6GHz. All designs are manufactured with non-toxic aluminum nitride base substrates.
AVX X2A,X2B Series MLO™Crossovers
AVX X2A and X2B Series MLO™ Crossovers are miniature, low profile devices that eliminate the need for PCB vias or coaxial jumper cables when RF signal lines must cross one another or when DC supply voltage lines must cross over RF signal lines. The X2A and X2B Series MLO Crossover devices are manufactured using MLO technology which matches the CTE of PCB material and provides low loss across a wide RF spectrum. These devices offer frequency range from DC to 6GHz and operating temperature range from -55ºC to 85ºC. The X2A Series MLO RF-DC Crossover intersects an RF and DC circuit trace in an SMT package. The X2B Series MLO RF-RF Crossover intersects an RF and RF circuit trace in an SMT package.
AVX KNA EMI Filter Arrays
AVX KNA EMI Filter Arrays feature distributed constant type LC filter in three sizes - 0603, 0805, and 1206, which prevent ringing
caused by circuit impedance, stable noise attenuation over wide
frequency range, and are small and low profile. Ideal applications for KNA EMI Filter Arrays include data lines for mobile phones (LCD lines, video lines, bus lines), bus lines for digital equipment, and terrestrial digital TV broadcasting.
AVX ESD-Safe™MLC Capacitors
AVX is proud to introduce the new ESD-Safe™ MLC Capacitor, an enhanced capacitor developed and designed specifically for general ESD (Electro Static Discharge) protection of I/O gates. The AEC-Q200 qualified ESD-Safe MLC Capacitor from AVX is used on nearly
every pin of an automotive module where ESD problems can sometimes
arise during the initial assembly/mating to the harness. These capacitors average the electrical potential of two objects due to ESD charging. The wide capacitance value range of ESD-Safe MLC Capacitors ensures that the correct capacitance is selected to minimize distortion of the circuit. A small footprint makes these capacitors ideal for high density electronic devices. These advanced MLCCs offer superior protection in ESD prone applications.
AVX AR Series Skycap®MLCCs - EXPANSION
NEW! AVX has expanded the automotive-grade Skycap® Radial Leaded AR series MLCC product line to include additional voltage values of 1kV, 2kV, and 3kV. These additional Skycap® AR series MLCC options from AVX are qualified to AEC-Q200 and have maximum operating temperature up to 150ºC. PPAP data is available upon request.
The AVX SkyCap® Radial Leaded AR series MLCCs are conformally coated and feature temperature coefficients of C0G (NP0), X7R, and X8R. The AVX SkyCap® Radial Leaded AR
series is available in 200, 100, and 50 volts, the lead materials are
RoHS compliant (100% tin) and qualified to AEC-Q200, PPAP available.

AVX CU Series RF/Microwave Capacitors
AVX CU Series RF/Microwave Capacitors are specially designed for ultra-low ESR applications. The CU Series RF Capacitors from AVX are available in 01005 and 0201 sizes, with a capacitance range from 0.5 to 22pF and voltage ratings of 16 and 25 WVDC. In addition, CU Series capacitors utilize copper electrodes and stable C0G dielectric to exhibit stable performance through +125ºC and 5GHz. A small footprint also makes the CU series copper electrode RF capacitors ideal for applications that require ultra small packages, such as mobile devices.
AVX ML03 250V Multilayer Organic Capacitors (MLOCs) - EXPANSION
AVX has expanded the ML03 Multilayer Organic Low Loss Capacitor Series to include the 250V ML03 MLOCs in addition to the 50V.
AVX is proud to introduce the new ML03 Series Multilayer Organic Capacitors (MLOCs)
based on AVX's patented multilayer low-loss organic (MLO) technology.
These low ESR microwave organic caps from AVX are polymer-based and use
high conductivity copper interconnects in a multilayer configuration.
These capacitors can be fabricated on large area substrates and
state-of-the-art, laser-direct imaging, creating improved cost benefits
and tolerance control. In addition, these low-profile RF capacitors can
support frequencies above one GHz and are expansion matched to printed
circuit boards for improved reliability. Primary features of AVX's MLOCs
are low ESR, high SRF, Hi-Q®, high self resonance, and tight tolerance.
Applications that utilize these capacitors are RF power amplifiers,
low-noise amplifiers, and filter networks.
AVX MUSE F95 Frameless™ Series Solid Tantalum Electrolytic Capacitors
AVX MUSE F95 Frameless™ Series Solid Tantalum Electrolytic Capacitors are conformal coated chip capacitors that are designed for audio applications. They feature materials strictly selected to achieve a higher level of sound quality, providing a rich, clear sound in the bass register. The MUSE F95 series has no lead-frame and no vibration factor. The frameless feature allows for a larger amount of capacitance in a smaller package in order to save board space. AVX MUSE F95 Frameless™ Series Solid Tantalum Electrolytic Capacitors are available with capacitance rated from 68µF to 330µF in 4V, 6.3V, and 10V. These capacitors offer ESR (@100kHz) from 0.4Ω to 0.9Ω. AVX F98 Solid Tantalum Electrolytic Capacitors are small, SMD resin-molded chips with high capacitance between 1µF and 100µF and rated voltages between 4V and 25V. The F98 Capacitors are RoHS compliant to directive 2002/95/EC.
AVX Air Core RF Inductors
AVX's Air Core RF Inductors (AL and AS Series) have a unique construction that provides the best performance in RF applications. The Air Core Inductor Series from AVX, part of the wound air core inductor family, are ideal for RF circuits, broadband I/O filtering, frequency selection, or impedance matching. The AL Series offers high Q, high current, excellent SRF, and many inductance values ranging from 1.65nH to 538nH. The AS Series has a square cross-section construction that provides better performance and offers manufacturing advantages over toroidal coils. Features of the AS Series include 0806, 0807, and 0908 sizes, 20 inductance values ranging 5.5nH to 27.3nH, high Q, high current, and excellent SRF.

AVX GL Series Ultra Broad Band Inductors was developed specifically to deliver repeatable and reliable Ultra Broad Band performance up through 40+ GHz. The GL Series Ultra Broad Band Inductors provide Ultra-Low Insertion loss, excellent return loss and extreme part to part performance repeatability. The pyramid shape of the GL Series Ultra Broad Band Inductors provides for maximum inductance in the space available. The AVX GL Series Ultra Broad Band Inductors was developed using a powdered iron core and gold plated terminations that allow for easy use in hand solder applications. The combination of Flat Frequency Response with the Ultra-Low Insertion loss makes the GL Series Ultra Broad Band Inductors an ideal component for optical data systems, transimpedance amplifiers and test equipment.

loss organic materials and low profile copper which allow for high Q and
high stability over frequency, and are based on AVX’s patented
multilayer organic technology. AVX HLQ Series Multilayer Organic Hi-Q
Inductors are surface mountable and are expansion matched to FR4 printed

AVX Medium Power Film Capacitors - FB and FE Series
AVX's FB and FE Series Medium Power Film Capacitors use a non-impregnated metallized polypropylene dielectric specially treated to have a very high dielectric strength in operating conditions up to 100ºC. The RoHS-compliant FB and FE Series Medium Power Film Capacitors from AVX offer performance characteristics that make them a viable alternative to aluminum electrolytic technology due to much lower ESR and much higher surge voltage capability (dv/dt). These capacitors have been designed for printed circuit board mounting and have an operating temperature range from -40ºC to +100ºC and voltage range from 550V to 1200V. The FE Series offers capacitance range from 3.3µF to 75µF, and the FB Series has capacitance range from 0.68µF to 75µF.

AVX introduces the FlexRay Automotive Varistor as the smallest FlexRay
Communication BUS protection device available with the lowest specified
leakage current in its class. FlexRay Automotive Varistor is a zinc
oxide (ZnO) based ceramic semiconductor device with non-linear voltage
current characteristics (bi-directional). The device enables greater
current and energy handing capabilities as well as EMI/RFI attenuation.
Featuring a compact 0402 footprint, the FlexRay Automotive Varistor
offers a 25kV ESD rating, sub 1ns response to ESD strike, and complies
with 27.5Vdc Jump Start requirements. In addition, the device meets the
requirements of automotive FlexRay™ network applications. AEC Q200
qualified, the FlexRay Automotive Varistor is well-suited for RF
circuits, sensors, communication BUS lines, drive-by-wire auto
applications, and data transmission lines.
AVX RP Series High Power Resistors
AVX RP Series High Power Resistors feature a resistance
tolerance of ±5 standard (±2 available), operating temperature range of
-55ºC to +150ºC, offer a coefficient of < 150 ppm/ºC, are thick and
thin film processed, and are available with resistance of 50 Ω and 100 Ω standard (10 Ω -
200 Ω available). Based on environmentally friendly AlN substrate with
pure silver tabs, RP Series High Power Resistive Terminations are
ideally suited for high temperature RF power applications such as couplers, circulators / isolators, and non-magnetic medical
RF.

AVX 9175 & 9176-700 Series Capped IDC Connectors feature a pre-assembled IDC cap with the IDC contacts. These W2B connectors can be surface mounted onto any PCB and terminated with wires without the need for special tooling. Offered as an expansion of the standard 9175 and 9176 Series, AVX 9175 & 9176-700 Series Capped IDC Connectors have the same PCB footprint as the standard series and offer a current rating up to 10A. The single piece plastic cap is available as through wire and wire stop. The 9175 Series Capped IDC Connectors accommodate 28 and 26 AWG wires up to 1mm insulation diameter, and are available in 2 and 3 ways. Series 9176 connectors accommodate 24 to 18 AWG wires with an insulation diameter of 1.1mm to 2.1mm, and are available in 1, 2 and 3 ways. AVX 9175 & 9176-700 Series Capped IDC Connectors are well-suited for connecting discrete wired components to a PCB; bring power, ground or signals into a PCB; daisy chaining multiple PCBs together; and replacing soldering wires to a PCB.
AVX TCP Series Tantalum Modules
AVX's TCP Series Tantalum Modules are low ESR capacitor modules that represent the highest packing density for high capacitance/voltage available in surface mount tantalum. The stacked construction of fully molded CWR29 capacitors in the TCP Series Tantalum Modules from AVX is compatible with a wide range of SMT board assembly processes, including reflow solder or conductive epoxy. The stacked assemblies of capacitors in the TCP series module provide ultra-low ESR and utilize established reliability capacitors (Weibull Grade voltage conditioning) in accordance with MIL-PRF-55365. These modules can also be supplied with SRC9000 Space Level components. The capacitance range of TCP Series Tantalum Capacitors is 9.4µF to 1,980µF.

AVX's LMax SMD Power Inductors are available in both shielded (LMXS Series) and non-shielded (LMXN Series) options that include several styles with various features. The high power, high saturation non-shielded LMXN Series Power Inductors from AVX have several key features including miniature surface mount design, very low resistance, maximum power density, operating temperature ranges up to 125ºC, and inductance ranges up to 1000µH. The shielded LMXS Power Inductor Series features include magnetically shielded construction, directly connected electrode on ferrite core, excellent property with high saturation for surface mounting, and low DC resistance. The AVX 9276 Series Wire to Board Poke-In Connectors are discrete connectors that provide a quick and reliable wire-to-board termination in a sleek 2.5mm pitch SMT package for a broad range of industrial and commercial markets. The 9276 Series Connectors accept a wide range (18-24 AWG solid or stranded) of wire by simply stripping the wire and inserting into the connector.
