AVX CU Series RF/Microwave Capacitors are specially designed for ultra-low ESR applications. The CU Series RF Capacitors from AVX are available in 01005 and 0201 sizes, with a capacitance range from 0.5 to 22pF and voltage ratings of 16 and 25 WVDC. In addition, CU Series capacitors utilize copper electrodes and stable C0G dielectric to exhibit stable performance through +125ºC and 5GHz. A small footprint also makes the CU series copper electrode RF capacitors ideal for applications that require ultra small packages, such as mobile devices.

AVX F98 Solid Tantalum Electrolytic Capacitors are small, SMD resin-molded chips with high capacitance between 1µF and 100µF and rated voltages between 4V and 25V. The F98 Capacitors are RoHS compliant to directive 2002/95/EC.

AVX's FB and FE Series Medium Power Film Capacitors use a non-impregnated metallized polypropylene dielectric specially treated to have a very high dielectric strength in operating conditions up to 100ºC. The RoHS-compliant FB and FE Series Medium Power Film Capacitors from AVX offer performance characteristics that make them a viable alternative to aluminum electrolytic technology due to much lower ESR and much higher surge voltage capability (dv/dt). These capacitors have been designed for printed circuit board mounting and have an operating temperature range from -40ºC to +100ºC and voltage range from 550V to 1200V. The FE Series offers capacitance range from 3.3µF to 75µF, and the FB Series has capacitance range from 0.68µF to 75µF.

AVX introduces the FlexRay Automotive Varistor as the smallest FlexRay
Communication BUS protection device available with the lowest specified
leakage current in its class. FlexRay Automotive Varistor is a zinc
oxide (ZnO) based ceramic semiconductor device with non-linear voltage
current characteristics (bi-directional). The device enables greater
current and energy handing capabilities as well as EMI/RFI attenuation.
Featuring a compact 0402 footprint, the FlexRay Automotive Varistor
offers a 25kV ESD rating, sub 1ns response to ESD strike, and complies
with 27.5Vdc Jump Start requirements. In addition, the device meets the
requirements of automotive FlexRay™ network applications. AEC Q200
qualified, the FlexRay Automotive Varistor is well-suited for RF
circuits, sensors, communication BUS lines, drive-by-wire auto
applications, and data transmission lines.
AVX RP Series High Power Resistors feature a resistance
tolerance of ±5 standard (±2 available), operating temperature range of
-55ºC to +150ºC, offer a coefficient of < 150 ppm/ºC, are thick and
thin film processed, and are available with resistance of 50 Ω and 100 Ω standard (10 Ω -
200 Ω available). Based on environmentally friendly AlN substrate with
pure silver tabs, RP Series High Power Resistive Terminations are
ideally suited for high temperature RF power applications such as couplers, circulators / isolators, and non-magnetic medical
AVX SMxJ Series Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) Diodes are designed in a common format of general purpose transient voltage suppression diodes. They are based on low leakage, high reliability glass passivated chip rectifier technology. These TVS diodes are industry standard components with three peak power ratings - 400W, 600W, and 1500W. They feature flat clamping characteristics, unidirectional or bidirectional polarity, and very fast response times.
AVX 9175 & 9176-700 Series Capped IDC Connectors feature a pre-assembled IDC cap with the IDC contacts. These W2B connectors can be surface mounted onto any PCB and terminated with wires without the need for special tooling. Offered as an expansion of the standard 9175 and 9176 Series, AVX 9175 & 9176-700 Series Capped IDC Connectors have the same PCB footprint as the standard series and offer a current rating up to 10A. The single piece plastic cap is available as through wire and wire stop. The 9175 Series Capped IDC Connectors accommodate 28 and 26 AWG wires up to 1mm insulation diameter, and are available in 2 and 3 ways. Series 9176 connectors accommodate 24 to 18 AWG wires with an insulation diameter of 1.1mm to 2.1mm, and are available in 1, 2 and 3 ways. AVX 9175 & 9176-700 Series Capped IDC Connectors are well-suited for connecting discrete wired components to a PCB; bring power, ground or signals into a PCB; daisy chaining multiple PCBs together; and replacing soldering wires to a PCB.
AVX's TCP Series Tantalum Modules are low ESR capacitor modules that represent the highest packing density for high capacitance/voltage available in surface mount tantalum. The stacked construction of fully molded CWR29 capacitors in the TCP Series Tantalum Modules from AVX is compatible with a wide range of SMT board assembly processes, including reflow solder or conductive epoxy. The stacked assemblies of capacitors in the TCP series module provide ultra-low ESR and utilize established reliability capacitors (Weibull Grade voltage conditioning) in accordance with MIL-PRF-55365. These modules can also be supplied with SRC9000 Space Level components. The capacitance range of TCP Series Tantalum Capacitors is 9.4µF to 1,980µF.
AVX's LMax SMD Power Inductors are available in both shielded (LMXS Series) and non-shielded (LMXN Series) options that include several styles with various features. The high power, high saturation non-shielded LMXN Series Power Inductors from AVX have several key features including miniature surface mount design, very low resistance, maximum power density, operating temperature ranges up to 125ºC, and inductance ranges up to 1000µH. The shielded LMXS Power Inductor Series features include magnetically shielded construction, directly connected electrode on ferrite core, excellent property with high saturation for surface mounting, and low DC resistance. The 9177 series IDC Connector from AVX offers theflexibility to connect 1, 2, or 3 wires in a single row on the PCBusing IDC technology.
