| AVX 9276 Series W2B Poke-In Connectors The AVX 9276 Series Wire to Board Poke-In Connectors are discrete connectors that provide a quick and reliable wire-to-board termination in a sleek 2.5mm pitch SMT package for a broad range of industrial and commercial markets. The 9276 Series Connectors accept a wide range (18-24 AWG solid or stranded) of wire by simply stripping the wire and inserting into the connector. The AVX 9276 Series Wire to Board Poke-In Connectors were developed for harsh industrial and Solid State Lighting (SSL) applications. Designed with a high spring force Beryllium Copper upper spring contact to provide a lance type retention to capture and retain the wire. Applications for the AVX 9276 include connecting discrete wire components directly to the PCB, bringing power and signals onto a PCB, and daisy chaining PCBs together to create a continuous string of boards. AVX MAV Series Miniature AC Varistors
AVX designed the MAV Series Miniature AC Varistors for transient suppression in LC resonant circuits intended for signal and power transfer. MAV Series devices provide low loss in the resonant circuit and clamp large amounts of transients in a bidirectional manner. With the ability to handle large transients, the MAV Series devices are useful in low power AC circuit protection. AVX Miniature 0201 MLV Suppressors - EXPANSION
AVX has expanded the Miniature 0201 MLV Suppressors series to include a 16 volt version for circuits with higher voltage ratings.
The AVX Miniature 0201 MLV Suppressors are multilayer ceramic transient voltage suppressors with ESD protection for any circuit with board space constraints. The 0201 MLV offer bi-directional ESD protection in the smallest package available today with an added advantage of EMI/RFI attenuation. The AVX Miniature 0201 MLV Suppressors

AVX PG Series LGA Low Inductance Capacitors
AVX's PG Series LGA Low Inductance Capacitors are built in a simplified 2-terminal package that offers the same high frequency performance as 8-terminal IDC (Inter-Digitated Capacitors). The 2-terminal packaging of the LGA (Land Grid Array) Low Inductance Capacitors creates lower manufacturing costs and easier handling and design. The PG Series Capacitors are available in case sizes 0204, 0306, and 0805 and capacitance range of 0.01µF to 2.2µF with capacitance tolerance ±20% and voltages of 4V and 6.3V. Unlike standard LGA capacitors, PG series capacitors offer tin/lead termination. The PG Series, like all LGA capacitors, are ideal for decoupling in semiconductor package-level and board-level applications.
AVX TCJ Series Capacitors with Conductive Polymer Electrode- EXPANSION
AVX has expanded its line of TCJ Series Capacitors to include CV ranges of 0.68-150µF / 2.5-50V and 0.47-330µF/2.5-125V.. The AVX TCJ Series Capacitors with Conductive Polymer Electrode are tantalum solid electrolytic chip capacitors with a conductive polymer electrode to reduce ignition failure mode, with low ESR and 3x reflow at 260ºC compatability. The AVX TCJ Series Capacitors with Conductive Polymer Electrode are RoHS compliant and are available in 16 case sizes.
AVX FPC/FFC Connectors
AVX FPC/FFC Connectors series 6277 has 0.5mm pitch and dual-sided contact with a one-touch lock connector. AVX FPC/FFC Connectors are designed for LCD of small portable equipment. The rear locking flip-top actuator is easy to connect and disconnect.
AVX FPC/FFC Connectors series 6298 has 0.5mm pitch and a bottom contact. AVX FPC/FFC Connectors have an ultra low profile connector specially designed for LCD modules with back-light requirements.

The X5R Dielectric from AVX is a general purpose dielectric for ceramic capacitors that is available in high capacitance values up to 100µF. AVX's EIA Class II X5R Dielectrics have a temperature variation of capacitance that is within ±15% from -55ºC to +85ºC. These dielectrics are ideal for decoupling and filtering applications. AVX's EIA Class I C0G (NPO) ceramic material is one of the most stable capacitor dielectrics on the market. The C0G (NPO) capacitors offer significant advantages, including life-time capacitance change of less than ±0.1%, which is one-fifth of that shown by other dielectrics. In addition, temperature capacitance change with C0G (NPO) is 0±30ppm/ºC, which is less than ±0.3% ΔC from -55ºC to +125ºC. Capacitance drift or hysteresis for C0G (NPO) ceramics is very minimal at less than ±0.05% when compared to up to ±2% for films. C0G (NPO) formulations show no aging characteristics. AVX 0805 LGA Low Inductance Capacitors
AVX 0805 LGA (Land Grid Array) Capacitors are the latest low inductance MLCC family developed by AVX. With a simplified layout of 2 large solder pads, compared to 8 small pads for IDCs, designers have the opportunity to reduce PCB or substrate contribution to system ESL by using multiple parallel vias in solder pads. In addition, an advanced FCT manufacturing process is used to create uniformly flat terminations on the capacitor that resist tombstoning. AVX's AA Series SpinGuard® Capacitors are conformally coated automotive-grade AEC-Q200 axial leaded MLCs used in filtering and decoupling applications. The AA Series SpinGuard® Capacitors are readily qualified to AEC-Q200 automotive compliance specification, eliminating the customer's need for additional PPAP. AVX's TRM Professional Multianode Tantalum Capacitors offer a CV range of 22-1500µF/2.5-35V and super low ESR. Available in two case sizes (D and E), the TRM Tantalum Capacitors from AVX offer improved reliability (twice better than standard), DCL reduction of 25% to 0.0075 CV, multi-anode construction, "mirror" construction used with the D case capacitors that reduces ESL to half, and ability to withstand higher thermo-mechanical stresses during the assembly process.
AVX VR15AT Series High Temperature Automotive MLV
AVX introduced the VR15AT Series High Temperature Automotive Multi-Layer Varistor (MLV) as a 150ºC rated radial-leaded MLV with a small footprint using 0805 insert (.150" height on .100" lead spacing). The VR15AT Series MLV provides EMI/RFI attenuation in off-state which enables designers to combine the circuit protection and EMI/RFI attenuation function into a single, highly reliable device. As part of the AVX TransGuard® Automotive product line, the VR15AT Series High Temperature MLV offers high energy absorption, high current handling, multi-strike capability, bi-directional ESD protection in on-state, and Sub 1nS response to ESD strike. Designed for underhood applications, the AEC Q200 qualified AVX VR15AT Series High Temperature Automotive MLV is well-suited for any high temperature application including down-hole drilling, and is compliant with IEC 61000-4-2 ESD requirements.

AVX FFLI Series Film Capacitors
AVX's FFLI Series Film Capacitors hold a major advantage over electrolytic capacitors in that at the end of their life cycles, they experience loss of capacitance without the risk of explosion that electrolytics carry. AVX's FFLI Series RoHS-compliant Film Capacitors have a life expectancy of 100,000 hours at which time the capacitor loses about 5% of its capacitance nominal value. The capacitor can still function after the 5% capacitance decrease, with no risk of explosion. AVX is proud to introduce the new ML Series Multilayer Organic Capacitors (MLOCs) based on AVX's patented multilayer low-loss organic (MLO) technology. These low ESR microwave organic caps from AVX are polymer-based and use high conductivity copper interconnects in a multilayer configuration. These capacitors can be fabricated on large area substrates and state-of-the-art, laser-direct imaging, creating improved cost benefits and tolerance control. In addition, these low-profile RF capacitors can support frequencies above one GHz and are expansion matched to printed circuit boards for improved reliability. The FLEXITERM® Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) from AVX were specifically designed to enhance the mechanical flexure and temperature cycling performance of a standard ceramic capacitor with an X7R dielectric. The FLEXITERM® technology was developed by AVX to meet the demand for components with enhanced mechanical strength and flexibility when used in harsh environment applications, such as automobiles, and in applications where temperature variation exists. FLEXITERM® MLCCs provide up to 5mm of flexure without internal cracks, 3mm above the 2mm industry standard. The AVX TAJ Series Low Profile Tantalum Capacitors are general purpose, SMT chip capacitors available in heights from 1.00mm (0.039") to 2.00mm (0.079") and in case sizes 2312, 1206, 0805, 1210, and 2917. offer "gas tight" termination for long term reliability, simple "One
Step" termination of the cable, and high temperature endurance for 1000
hours at 125⁰C. Design features include a small IDC contact to pierce the insulated signal contact and a larger IDC contact
to pierce the outside jacket dielectric materials for an electrical
connection to the signal wire and ground connection.

stripping processes and crimp tools. These connectors are ideally suited

AVX VCAT High Temp Underhood MLV Varistor
The AVX VCAT High Temp Underhood MLV Varistor has been tested, qualified, and specified to 150ºC. The multilayer varistor advantage is EMI/RFI attenuation in the off state. This allows designers to combine circuit protection and EMI/RFI attenuation functions into a single, highly reliable device. As part of AVX's Antennaguard Series, the 0603 case size VCAT High Temp Underhood MLV Varistor offers a working voltage of 18Vdc, capacitance of 121pF, and an ESD rating to 25kV contact.
AVX AntennaGuard Varistors
AVX offers Antennaguard Varistors, a single chip option for low capacitance varistors. AVX Antennaguard 0402/0603 features small TVS component, standard EIA chip sizes and fastest response time to ESD strikes. Antennaguard 0402/0603 is available in two cap values: ≤3 and ≤12pF. Applications include laser drivers and ESD protection for RF amplifiers. The AVX Antennaguard/SPV offers ultra-low capacitance ESD protection, and features high reliability, low insertion loss, and bi-directional protection and is available in a low profile 0402 case size. Applications include antennas, optics, HDMI, and RF circuits. AVX´s AntennaGuard VCAS / Sub pF MLV Multilayer Ceramic Transient Voltage Suppressor provides protection for any circuit
sensitive to over-voltage conditions such as ESD or lightning. The
0.8pF device targets <0.5pF capacitance and is designed to minimize
signal distortion and maximize signal speed. Practical applications
include antennas, optics, HDMI, and RF circuits. AVX Antennaguard/Automotive Varistor series offers
AEC-Q200 qualification, ultra-low capacitance and leakage current, 25kV
ESD rating, and high reliability with FIT rate of 0.2.
