3M Electronic Specialty (ESM) offers more than 6,000 products used in the design, development, assembly, repair, maintenance and protection of your electronic and electrical devices and systems.
The 3M ESD Pro Event Detector locates and identifies ESD events in your process for a critical assessment of the environment where ESD-sensitive devices are handled. The hand-held 3M ESD Pro Event Detector counts the discharges and the relative strength of each ESD event, as well as rejecting most non-ESD related EMI events. With variable settings, the ESD Pro provides an audio alarm and a variable-colored LED bar-graph.
3M introduces the EM Eye Meter that brings the power of a benchtop meter to your pocket. The portable 3M EM Eye Meter
is one of the smallest and most versatile instruments for measuring
ESD, EMF, power density, EIRP, and RF signals and events. With a touch
screen and color display, the Eye Meter features headphone and speaker outputs and accepts a mini SD card for export to an Excel spreadsheet. Lithium battery operated.
3M´s low static Polyimide Film Tape is a translucent, polyimide film-backed silicone adhesive tape with extremely low electrostatic discharge properties. The polyimide film does not soften at elevated temperatures, providing an excellent release surface. The tape can be used as a mask for printed circuit boards during wave solder or solder dip process and as a release surface in fabrication of parts cured at elevated temperatures.
3M Electronic Specialty´s 9900 Series static control anti-fatigue mat
enables workers to stand comfortably for long periods of time and
minimize fatigue. The matrix of hollow cylinders functions like springs
when compressed and a provides soft, stable surface supported by
rubber. The durable static control anti-fatigue mat is optimized for softness, resists bottoming out, and encourages blood flow in lower legs. The 9900 Series mat also resists warping, bunching, and creeping.
3M Iron Man™ and Iron Man™ Plus Workstation Monitors measure voltage directly on circuit board during assembly. Audio and visual alarms indicate electrical overstress (EOS) on PC board. The Iron Man and Iron man Plus Monitors feature soldering iron overvoltage failure alarm, operator wrist strap and body voltage monitoring, dissipative mat for ground monitoring, and patented replaceable wrist strap jack.
